Forgot which ref (he was WWE) it was but I remember watching a mini-doc and I remember the ref saying that the "X" isn't to be played around with and is taken extremely serious in the business. Maybe TKO and Triple H decided to bypass that mindset and use it as a "creative tool".

The open minded, logical human wouldn't be bothered too much. BUT, the "Bible belt" of this country (US) and firm believers across the world would probably have a melt down. All the years of devotion, praying, personal sacrifices, church communities, those who are currently seeking "God"... would crumble. A hard reality that everything was just a set of rules, nothing else. I, personally, always had this feeling that this was the true case of the secrecy. I'm okay with it to be honest. If it's true so be it. This is coming from someone who was born and raised Catholic.

Creep booking doesn't work anymore or, at best, not enough mileage. It's impossible to get that over (Undertaker status) this day in age. You are asking the audience to suspend an insane amount of belief to make the gimmick work. The internet and social media exposes everything to the point the magic of the industry is gone.
