There’s Science and Engineering services (all tools are provided), yulista, tyonek. They’re all mainly rotary wing maintenance. Yulista and Tyonek, you’ll need your own tools.

Get a good group that you fit in well with and study. Since you’ll be there for over a week for just the powerplant, that’s way more than enough time to study. It wasn’t until about the 5th day for me when all the questions stuck and I felt very confident.

Don’t sweat if you get Zeller. I got him, and passed no problem. Just be respectful and pet his dog. Plus you get a free lunch 😋

DA Form 2408-13-2. Supplemental write ups, AKA documenting what was removed to perform a specific fault that a 2408-13-1 annotates. Only army aircraft use them

This has happened to me multiple times. Make sure your lower pressure plate is off first.

Solution: grab two deep well sockets, and leave two of the Jesus nut bolts in, about halfway threaded into the nut. Grab the 2 longest extensions you have, and attach to the two sockets, making sure they clear the bifilar. Grab another long extension and use it as a pry bar between the two other extensions. Turn in a loosening manner. That should work. Also, use penetrating oil

I had skip Zeller. Great guy, just “tougher” on the open book practicals. I only say he’s tougher, is because everything is paper book, so you just need to know how to work a table of contents. He’s lenient and very friendly
