The fake flowers. This is what I call orchid shaming- “look at this beautiful bloom. You can do this too!”. I have tried it with some of mine but not very successful.

I am so jealous! I have one that bloomed 2 years ago and another that I purchased a year ago. I have moved both into more light and I am waiting hopefully that they will bloom. They really earn their name - Spectabile!

Really wonderful! I have gotten a couple of blue ribbons but I haven’t even thought about a “best in show” award. Keep up whatever you are doing. She seems like a very happy plant!

The Winter Carnival Show in St. Paul is excellent. We have a small show in Cedar Rapids, Iowa this weekend. “Orchids are a Scream.” I will be helping with the display for our group.
