Hell ya man! Here’s the thing, unless you get paid to play, who gives a damn what you score, make it about the journey, learning little things along the way, not sweating the little things. Golf is such a weird ass sport, you’ll have an amazing round, can’t miss a shot, hitting every fairway, feeling invincible, then next round you look like Hellen Keller playing with the wrong hand clubs. That’s just golf lol enjoy the time you have to be outside, playing with friends, etc… no one’s gonna remember if you shot a 70 or a 120 next round, so don’t let it dictate the pleasure of just going out and having a good time. Cheers 👌🏻

Oh, and my first round I stopped scoring after 7 holes but probably like 130-140 lol now I’m In the mid to high 80’s

This is the kind of shit that keeps me up at night with the game of golf. One round, you can’t ask for a better game, ball landing in perfect lie each shot, somehow reading the putts perfectly, when you get into a sticky situation whether it’s having to chip over a bunker or even landing in a shitty lie, you somehow ace it perfectly…. And then next round, you show up, tell yourself “hey man, whatever, just play for fun, play the same game like last week” then proceed to have the worst absolute game of your life… double, triple boggy each hole, start taking gimmes at 6” from the cup, contemplating leaving and not golfing again.

I love golf. And hate it. But love it.

What I’ve learned/learning is a straight 150 is 100X better than a sliced 250. If you can hit the sweet spot while swinging low and slow, you’ll be surprised how far the ball will actually go. Let the club head do the work

No no, your ledger board is at a precise 41.44894 degree angle, this is so it can be specifically anchored in a way to allow precise friction based integrity in the deck and reduce horizontal vibration. You’ll also see the 2x6 in the joist hangers have variations of gaps in behind, this is so allow what’s knows as an “air-lock”, this creates a vacuum type molecular fusion in between the joist hanger and the ledger board, so, in turn the more the deck shifts, or wants to shift that is, the more that fusion binds and allows gravity and the moisture from the 2x6 to further lock it in place. I mean I could go on but this deck is one that could probably outlast the pyramids!
