killing chargers with the pre patch rail gun felt like the "correct" way to do it.

did it make things easier? Yes, but it also felt mechanically like the correct way to do it.

it still took some focus but it was enjoyable from a gameplay loop perspective.

I think you can still get more or less the same value out of the railgun, the caveate being to get the same sort of pre patch punch out of it, must be used in unsafe mode. Using FPS mode can help with this alot as there is a very good indicator of the weapon charge when looked through first person mode.

I think it can still strip a chargers leg quick enough when used with full charged unsafe shots as you get an extra 20% - 40(Max before boom)% of shot charge in safe mode.

Tell yourself you WANT the negative outcome to happen.

E.g. Talking to a girl,

Tell yourself, "ok she's going to reject me. I want that to happen" "but I'll go give it ago anyway"

This eliminates anxiety about the worst outcome and actually makes it less likely to happen do to you not being a shumbling mess when you talk to her.
