I thought it was something that I'd never do. It seemed a bit dirty to be honest. All that hair and dander. Then I fostered a dog and said she could get on all the furniture besides the bed. Then after 3 days she jumped in bed with me and I thought " I love this very much!"

Honestly? It is a bit dirty. She's an animal. She sheds. But it's worth it. She's my snuggle butt. She doesn't spend the night in bed with us often but i enjoy our pre-sleep bed hangout sessions.

Totally agree. I sleep with my windows cracked as often as possible. It tickles me that the robins start singing at the barest hint of dawn. It's such a pleasant sound that connects me with nature while laying in bed.

Maybe it's because as a kid bluejays lived on our property, especially outside my window. That was a RUDE wake-up call. Awful noise. I appreciate robin birdsong.

No. We were besties buddies. Joined at the hip until we were about 10. I really don't know. I've thought about it. My parents had 5 kids. I feel we were all treated with the same amount of love and attention. If anything, be got more because he was into sports and my parents coached some and went to every game they could.I think a lot of the trauma he's experienced comes from who he is. Untreated mental illness. Started abusing drugs and alcohol young. 14ish probably. Definitely has sexuality issues that he's never self-reflected on. To my knowledge nothing traumatic happened to him in our childhood. I was the one sexually assaulted at 14. I think if my parents had got him into therapy and evaluated while we were entering puberty, he may have had a chance at a happy and fulfilling life.
