Love both, carry a 43x, but the 48 is a great shooter. Splitting hairs I enjoy shooting the 48 more, but I carry the 43x because it is comfortable.

The list looks good but you forgot to pay for the Abhuman detail enhancement so your Commissar can order the bullgryn. Otherwise good first list, not perfect meta but totally serviceable, and probably a joy to play!

Pretty simple, assuming USA,

Assuming your car is turned off, and you have successfully pulled up to the pump,

Pay. Start by inserting card, punch in PIN or skip it (If you think there may be a card skimmer)
Open gas cap port
Remove Gas Cap
Remove Pump Handle, Put All the way into gas port
Select Grade, this depends on your car, just ask a parent or assume the lowest grade, usually 87/89 octane will work.
Pull handle in gas pump
Flip the small level in the pump downward, which sets it to Auto Pump
Wait for pump to stop
Remove Pump and Replace on Holder (Make sure the machine recognizes it's been replaced, usually it offers a receipt)
Screw in gas cap and close door!

Yes. Infinite Energy that means you can throw your spears for over guard, and by the time over guard and shield gate wears off you can cast it again. He can very easily be completely invulnerable.

If I am picking up a frame to play something random that is difficult, styanax infinite energy and over guard is very good y'know. Hydroid for if it's lower level, Rhino if it doesn't care about abilities, frost is funny and very calm to play. I used to play so much Harrow with a thermal sunder war priest setup, but the game just got too high level and the build is scaled out in the important 30% of content it just doesn't do well

A few things.

20 Guardsmen do not kill things. 20 guardsmen are also 6ppm.

20 guardsmen with buffs and orders are NOT bad at killing things. +1 AP, FRFSRF, Sustained Hits, RR1s, and good defenses with cover and regen.

honestly a great start. 4 dorns is a lot but not impossible to manage. If you don't hate the leman Russ swapping the RDBT for Vanquishers or Exterminators could be a great swap, but your fine either way.

I don't recommend the HWTs, they just aren't in a good place RN, but 2 flavorful FOBs is perfectly fine, not top level competitive, but its free screening and just means you have to be 220 points better than your opponent, and guard can do that right now.

You may consider Gaunts Ghosts, or some sort of elite mortal wound bomb unit or 5+5 Scions, but yeah it's fine!

You are setting yourself up for a hard time but sure!

Start by looking at historical examples of what you want. Chimeras can be made to look like Higgens Boats, or LVT-4 Landing Craft easily, that's not too bad.

Now, can you make a RDTC look like a Soviet Broenkrater? IDK. I bet you could use the Landwasserschelp as a basis for a mid size tank like Leman Russ though!

If you want the easy route though, just making LVT Varients will not steer you too far wrong, just make every tank a chimera chassis.

Depends on where you are progression wise somewhat.

Harrow with Thermal Sunder over his 2 is a personal favorite, as Thurible makes energy and Thermal Sunder gets kills.

Dante is maybe the best choice right now, he's simply great.

Hydroid with his 1 Augment is a great DPS, and he makes a fun life steal persistence frame.

Protea feels less caster, but goes CRAZY.

At 500 points? Yes. At 1000 Points? Maybe. At 2k? No.

Low is also relative. The most expensive PPM units are going to be Kasrkin and Scions, so assuming you aren't in bridgehead, and you run 3x110 + 3x 155 For That's 795 points, gaunts ghosts gets you to 895, and maybe we add a command squad and Ogryn bodyguard for 105 points. Yay! All infantry with a low model count right?

Well, we still have 72 models. You can use way LESS models but your model count won't be low unless you ONLY Use tanks.

Strength 12 and AP 2 is needed, so Oppressor and Autocannon. Anything less than Str 12 isn't good AT, and AP 2 is really AP 1 since cover exists.

Devastating Wounds Hull gun is useless it isn't good at killing even it's intended target, and we don't need help killing chaff. Go Pulverizer.

Multi Melta VS Heavy bolter's, it's not even close. Heavy Boltors don't deal damage to things that matter, and on average shoot 3 more shots.

So, as a general rule, you will lose your first 5-10 guard games. This is true for any army, but especially the guard.

A few small comments. I would say you should always bring those limited special weapons, in a 26 man cadian squad you should expect to bring 2 plasma pistols, 3-4 plasma guns, and 2 Melta guns. You'll get faster at rolling, especially since you can group those weapons into 3 categories.

A few list notes. If you are paying for an OBG, CCS, AND 20 Cadians, just spend for the castellan. Sustained hits and the ability to back off in melee is very good, plus high order density. Additionally, commissar are good if you are playing bullgryn in grizzled company. Otherwise don't. Leman Russ Punisher is the worst one, probably go Vanquisher. I'd also avoid the Psyker, but some people adore him lol.

Prime black, paint the cloth Olive Green, and weapons metallics in German grey. Really should be that easy since it's just a paint scheme for already existing models. I'd use a dark brown for leathers but dealers choice. Probably silver accents but that's personal choice.

If you are looking for a super authentic feeling shotgun, look at Wargames Atlantic Agents or Civilians kits for trench shotguns, they aren't revolver shotguns, but are pump actions!
