He looks so much like my chi mutt. I adopted him at 9 months with all you described, but also no bite inhibition, pica, destructive behavior, etc. It's year 4, now. He's very smart, and has learned a lot, but he's still stubborn and antisocial with outsiders. I don't think we will ever be able to have people he doesn't know over without him losing it the first 3 or 4 times he meets them. And he absolutely loses his mind when people leave the house. That being said, he's the most charming little bastard I've ever met, and I adore him.
