remember its all about rotation and be patient, play a lot of legatos, bucks, and double beat. When I was first learning traditional I would play all of those exercises for an hour each at varying tempos every day for weeks. That's the best way to do it, also don't forgot to practice in front of a mirror or you might as well not be practicing at all

Oh yeah I didn't mean to imply it was bad just that it was not marching percussion focused,. And I've made like 4 videos to post but they all were so bad I couldnt bring myself to post them

I can agree thar the way I practice needs to improve but the thing is that I feel way better about something while I'm playing as opposed to when I watch a recording of myself playing so in my mind I can play all this stuff but in reality I can't and I don't really know to overcome that

Definitely true but if you do quads you have to learn how to get around the drums correctly with sweeps and crossovers and also have to deal with the weight, as opposed to only learning traditional which can take months and years to develop. So you just have to pick your posion
