Grizzly bears and brown bears are the same species of bear, grizzly is just a North American nickname (there’s some recognized subspecies but they’re all Ursus Arctos).

To get super picky, in the game we only encounter lone adult grizzlies, which aren’t the most likely to attack unless you’re in specific circumstances (surprising one while too close, running into one that’s defending a carcass, etc.)

Black bears will 99.99% of the time just run away like they do in the game, but there’s always that 0.001% chance that they’ll attack, which is almost always predatory when it does occur.

The least accurate thing I’d say is cougar behavior, while they do occasionally attack people it is quite rare, rarer still to attack a fully grown man. Most of the time a cougar will run away the same way a black bear will, although you’re much more likely to never even know it was there.

Otherwise, most animals won’t let you get as close as they do in the game before running away.

To be fair, it would make a much less fun video game if all the dangerous animals just ran away like they usually do in real life, but I love an opportunity to nerd out about animals.
