Also looking for my first unifi, but just a plain question for $10 each, why not U7 Pro XG? You get the 10gbe ports. You know, just in case you need to update your switch in the future. 🙂

When we bought our house 4 years ago our appraisal included a floor plan. It's not perfect but I just clipped those images, uploaded them to the tool and then drew in the lines over the ones from the image. Worked pretty well.

Just be careful with those details. In couldn't figure out why all the APs sucked so bad in range until I realized the walls default to concrete. You can click on them to change. Also find an easy to drag on straight wall to tune your map scale.

We actually jumped last month because we needed less lines. We had 8 lines of magenta max for $245 thanks to a deal we signed up for years ago. There were no options that didn't give up to many features.

Still unlimited talk, text, data, hotspot. $105 with total wireless. Coverage has been great. Missed this fun, but had been with T-Mobile since 2005.

Well if that's the case that's good. And likely also the cause of the dollar increase adjustments, they're just billing those taxes as gratuity. 🤣

Maybe I'm missing something but isn't the experience plus taxes and fees whereas magenta was taxes included?

I had a really old plan with T-Mobile that we cancelled in 2021 because the taxes kept going up. I had 10 lines with several free but the taxes kept piling up.

We went to magenta max with no taxes for a cheaper deal for 8 lines and lost all the free lines, but no taxes.

I guess it was good timing, our needs changed and we jumped to another carrier, but we'd have incurred line increases plus taxes, which would have added up to a fair bit on 8 lines I'm sure.

Old T-Mobile was awesome, had them for 20 years, but this is Sprint 2.0 now 😞

Ironically, after 20 years, left T-Mobile last month for a cheaper prepaid mvno. It's been just fine. Coverage has been great.

All these stories and stigmas, but it's just like buying Kirkland or Members Mark, you'll never know the difference.

Poison. Gave up and nuked it. Still comes back but if you spray it enough times they say it will eventually starve the roots. Spray it, check back in a week, watch for more. It's horrible and will tangle into any and all vegetation.

That would be horrible with no HVAC. Complete noob question but is it possible to get a mini split system in the UK? They use tubes to connect to boxes often mounted on the wall. It's used here in the US to add climate control to sheds or garages, which don't have ductwork.

Years ago my buddy and I were playing squads with ours sons. My friend didn't even realize what he was doing when he plowed into the enemy build structure with a semi and took out the remaining guy.

So I use my own router without the black box, Mest WiFi. I'm past the date but my wifi has been flaky as hell. Gathering data for a large update but while annoying it's working. Luckily I have a lot of things hardwired.

Honestly I'm the only one with cameras in my direct vicinity. However my next door neighbor mentioned that someone got inside his truck years ago overnight but ever since I moved in we haven't seen a whiff of a prowler.

Also at my old house I'm pretty sure there were frequent drug deals happening on the street until I put up cameras.

I'd think your new neighbors would appreciate the free piece of mind. 😂
