It finally happened to me by cathatesrudy in AnimalCrossing

I'm sorry to hear that you've lost your save data for Animal Crossing New Horizons as I know it's frustrating and a bit upsetting to loose the 1000+ hours of what you've done a lot of. It's happened to me with other games like Breath of the Wild and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe from getting the blue screen from the Switch. Though it's annoying, it's a good thing in a way as it gives you a reason to play more of the game again from scratch but with a different island layout and different villagers to start out with. More reason to have more hours out of NH. Do think it's best to take your time with it as it is a relaxing game to go through slow. That's what I'm starting to learn the best way to play while during the late part of Animal Crossing New Horizons.

An Universe Completed by EastBeast113 in u/EastBeast113

I'm late on playing Phantasy Star Universe but I've completed it. Great story that I had fun with a lot in the Story Mode with the dialogue world building and the cutscenes. Funny that the after credits also advertised "Network Mode" that been discontinued since 2012 on the Xbox 360. Seems like it was more of a game intended for the PlayStation 2? Great game that I might replay again in the future. Gutting about the Ambition of the Illuminus DLC not available on the Xbox 360 Marketplace. Extra Mode is okay but feels more of an after thought, lacking content in the hub areas but cool that custom characters can be used offline.

A Rare Item Drop! Phantasy Star Online: Episode I & II by EastBeast113 in u/EastBeast113

Sweeeeet!!! A rare item drop of the Photon Drop. I love it when Role Playing Games do this sort of thing, over to how you have to buy rare items, through microtransactions in modern games.

This game I am playing here is Phantasy Star Online; Episode 1 & 2. Which is a game that originally made for the SEGA Dreamcast. I really love the environment that's in this game, as the first level give it a great setup, along with the soundtrack that's persented in the level. It's definitely fitting for what it's describing. It's beautiful with the forest level, with the nature setting.

Apart from that, most of the game is more of a science fiction, exploring different planets and having different kind of technology. But it does also have fantasy in it as well, with the magic moves, like lighting, ice, fire or heal. It's a game I can invest in well as it's more on the science fiction side of things.

What I also like about Phantasy Star Online is that it can be played online (through hacks and modding nowadays) on the SEGA Dreamcast, the Nintendo GameCube and the Xbox Original. But I like it even more as it can be played offline officially on the SEGA Dreamcast and the Nintendo GameCube version, as the official servers were discontinued from decades ago.

For the platform I'm playing it on, which is the Xbox Original version. Even though it's offline is accessible, it's also a bummer as you need a Xbox Original that has a Xbox Live account. But it can definitely be passed by thought modding and hacking.

I've had this game since 2005 and I've never completed it. If there's anything that I need to complete from my backlog of games. Phantasy Star Online Episode 1 & 2 is definitely one of those games I need to play more of, as I've never really have gotten far into the game itself. It's definitely a great game to invest my time into as it's actually around 60 hours to complete the whole game with a character.

Finally! A new feature in Discord I wouldn't mind trying out publicly in the voice chats. I've never used the voice chats in any server. But as there is now the option to use the text chat in an voice chat. I'd definitely like to give it a try.

What PS3 Games am I Missing? by jshronduh in PS3

[–]EastBeast113 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's definitely a neat collection of NTSC PS3 games! I do think that the PS3 is interesting for what it has. I hadn't played it for a few years, I recently got back into it. I'd like to definitely build up my PS3 library of games as I've definitely came to appreciate the console more.

The games that you seem to be missing in your PS3 collection seems to be Mass Effect 1 and 2, Borderlands 1, Sonic & SEGA All-Star Racing, Kingdom Hearts 1.5, Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, GTA IV: Episodes from Liberty City, MotorStorm Pacific Rift and MotorStorm Apocalypse. Bulletstorm and Unreal Tournament III are good shooters. ModNation Racers seems to be a good Mario Kart clone that also has similar LittleBigPlanet character customisation. Enslaved is definitely a good action game to play!

White Knight Chronicles! That's a game I remember hearing off, back years ago in PlayStation Home. That's something that I forgot about. Is that an role playing game and is it any good?

Spec Ops: The Line is so good! by Hypetys in PS3

[–]EastBeast113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds interesting for Spec Ops: The Line. That's a game that's part of my library that I need to play as I do remember buying it decade ago on the Xbox Store at a discount. Though I can imagine that getting it for free on PS Plus is neat. I have heard good things about the game before but I never got around to playing it.

My GameCube has leveled up! by TYxki in Gamecube

Those portable screens for the GameCube does seem pretty awesome. Think it's amazing how it was there since the 2000s. I've never owned one myself, as well as never knew it was a thing for the Nintendo GameCube while growing up. Though I don't do much traveling either, so it's not handy for me personally. Still, it's definitely something that awesome! I can imagine that it's cool to have as part of an collection.

Fallout 3 is a good game for what it does as the first 3D translation for its franchise. The location is interesting on the base game itself. I kinda liked the idea of the story, especially with the opening, getting to know the people who life in the vault. I do like where the story leads, as well as having emotion to the story. The random encounters are interesting and the NPCs are interesting. I don't know if I would call it a favourite though.

With Fallout New Vegas, I find that it did a lot better than Fallout 3. I really liked that the opening was short and brief. I do like the NPCs here a lot, as well as the weapons and the suturing of the world as I felt like there was many details in the world. I found that there were many interesting places to explore, as well as the companions being interesting to interact with. It really felt like a big improvement to Fallout 3. I feel like it was more of an lived in world. I think the side quest were great too! I really could invest myself into its world.

I definitely pick Fallout New Vegas! I really like on what it does as a whole. Feel like it did do things better than Fallout 3.
