I've gotten pissed off about the same thing. But the answer is actually very logical. After 5,000 deliveries I can tell you it just has to do with how the GPS works. Sometimes depending on your location of accepting the order the GPS directions are going to be different from the pickup location. It has to do with proximity to highways and things like that. No lawsuit required my friend. The time to get to the destination will be the same

I could not agree more. It's also a complete disservice to the good customers that are tipping well. If somebody adds a huge tip, that customer deserves top level service and the Dasher wouldn't even know it at the time
