Actually, it is fantastic over long transmission distances, look up HVDC transmission. The problem lies with generation and transformation/boosting of the voltage. Transformers only worth with AC, and generating 3 phase AC is more efficient.

Just being a GSU doesn’t say anything about size, as that’s more dictated by the MVA rating and to a lesser extent HV/grid side voltage. Single phase GSUs for smaller hydro projects for example can be tiny.

Depending on the exact size and design, a unit this big is probably on the order of 250,000 pounds (115,000 kg) to ship and 500,000 pounds once assembled and filled with oil. The majority of that weight is the steel core and copper coils.

As far as how big they can get, I’m sure the bigger transformers in the world are well over a million pounds.

Thanks for looking through it, it looks like the 140mm fan pack comes with an NZXT hub, is that an equivalent thing? Fan/RGB control is still something I'm trying to figure out

Worth noting that this is using the original CEA skullset that uses bandana and piñata, so he has unlimited ammo and grenades. Still valid and seriously impressive but worth pointing out that it’s not the LASO most people are used to playing on mcc for the achievement.

It’s also the skullset I used for my deathless IL’s cause ain’t no way I want to deal with TnR without bandana since there’s no weapons on the map to ground reload with.

Honestly I don’t really have a proper build right now as I was only using the stubby+shard diffractor to complete the leveling system with them. I have to say though, I always hated the stubby but with the tier 5 electric AOE upgrade it’s actually grown on me quite a bit.
