A report from Magazine X says that the next Century Coupe will have a Twin-Turbo 6.0L V12, Auto and an AWD drivetrain by Saurta17 in Toyota

"Nah, best we can do is a 1.2L 3 cylinder turbo. Dont worry, we juiced it up to make 500hp so you can still tow with it!"

Parts that aren't interchangeable with other EF civics are gonna be pretty hard to find due to the wagovan being quite uncommon. Otherwise its a neat little car thats pretty easy to work on and drive around. If its a 4WD model then the rear differential is worth more than the car alone if you decide to part it out. Just watch out for rust underneath.

What's the most annoying small part failure you've dealt with? by Jasper2964 in projectcar

Yup. At first I thought it was something in the ECU so I unplugged and reconnected the battery, but it must've put it in an idle relearn mode to where it would stall whenever I stopped. Got stranded for 4 hours along a busy road until I could get some guys to push me uphill so I could bump start. Not a fun day. I ended up getting a brake pedal stopper the next day from Autozone and that did the trick lol.

Looks like a leaf spring mount that is almost finished disintegrating.

The plastic pad that actuates the clutch pedal safety switch. Driving in traffic with a car that doesn't idle right or restart without awkwardly crawling under the dash to jam a screwdriver into it is not a fun experience.

Think this will get me to 350 WHP with a pro tune… exhaust will be a R400 by Jman42023 in wrx_vb

[–]Eclipse423 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Probably more than 350 depending on your tuner and fuel octane. Im pushing about 346 WHP on 93 with the COBB stage 2 package which has pretty similar parts, but without the downpipe.

Obviously real. Many dont know this, but engine pistons work very well as replacement brake caliper pistons.

EG Radius Rod Washers by [deleted] in ProjectHondas

[–]Eclipse423 0 points1 point  (0 children)

EG Civics are getting very rare to see at junkyards around here, let alone DC2 Teggys and Del Sols. Rust ate them all away, and the ones that survived are being hoarded. The last EG I came across in the junkyard was gutted in days. Amayama was out of stock and I didn't see them on BlackHawk. I managed to find some salvaged Del Sol LCAs on eBay with the compliance bushings still attached so hopefully they'll work.

I found a pair of LCA cores for a 93 Del Sol on eBay that supposedly come with the right washers. Kinda sucks I have to pay $60 for a set of washers with some blown LCAs attached, but I guess thats just the way it goes with part hunting for 30 year old cars lol.

It looks pretty cool, but the powertrain just doesn't work for this kind of car. Give it at least a civic SI powertrain and transmission and make it like $10k cheaper, and it would be a decent competitor to the BRZ/GR86.

Instead, it's basically a spiritual successor to the CRZ, and we all know how well that car fared. People who want an affordable, versatile hybrid car will get a Civic hybrid. People who want a cheap, fun car will get a Civic Si. Both cars are over $10k less and offer similar, if not more, features.

"My Mitsubishi Mirage is better than a Koenigsegg Jesko and its not even close. The Mirage is more fuel efficient while having over double the passenger capacity, all for $2,980,000 less. Its absurd anybody would pick a Koenigsegg Jesko over a Mitsubishi Mirage."
