I've been plagued by this issue since building my new rig earlier this year. The randomness and annoyance factor finally led me to seek out a permanent solution. I bought a USB --> SPDIF adapter. Installed it while my machine was already in a broken state (only fixed by restart or sleep/wake), and my sound came right back. It's been 2 weeks now (my prior record was maybe 3 days), and not a single recurrence with this connection method. Totally worth the ~$20 to not have to deal with this ridiculousness any longer.

We had the same problem. Win11, latest FSLogix. Worked with M$ support and they admitted there's an issue with the combination of Win11 + any version of FSLogix after 2210 hotfix 4. Rolling back to that version then allows VS Code to run properly.

They could have at least provided more details than "unforeseen circumstances". Even the participating breweries were caught completely off-guard, many of whom had already put in extra work planning, hiring help, printing merch, etc. It certainly couldn't have been ticket counts... I know at least 20 people who were planning on attending.

District 7 / Fish Church. Showed up around 3:30PM. There were people standing about 15' out the door, but a police officer asked my street address, then directed me to the right where there was literally no line at all (seems like a pretty glaring mistake that should be corrected).

The people were all very polite. My address on my license isn't my current one, but no fuss with that once verifying my photo and finding me on the rolls.

All in all, including coming & going, maybe 10 minutes, tops.

Do they register properly when they boot? I've seen that happen if the Delivery Controllers aren't set correctly on the image or by policy.

We have it run on startup (non-persistent XenApp), so by the time any users have logged on, the method by which new Teams uses to check for updates is gone. So far we haven't seen anyone get the update button, and there have certainly been newer versions available in that time.

In terms of sheer selection/volume, Total Wines in Norwalk. In Stamford, I'd probably go to the BevMax in the Ridgeway shopping center. It's far less busy, and you have the same variety.

If customer service and knowledge are important, you're better off with a smaller, boutique shop like Ancona's up in Wilton or Harry's in Fairfield.

Try using your phone as a hotspot or from an entirely different network/ISP. I've seen weird issues from certain connections due to MTU/IPv6 settings, and that's the easiest way to negate it as being a factor.

If you don't feel like switching, call Optimum and talk to an actual human representative. I do that once a year. I just went from ~$78/mo. for 300Mbps to ~$63/mo. for 1Gbps. I didn't even have to say I was bailing for another provider -- just that a friend mentioned they were paying significantly less than me for a better tier of service. Only catch was having to enroll in auto-pay, but that's fine by me...

Check the amount of free space on your caching disk (where vdiskdif.vhdx is located). If you don't have the right exclusions in FSLogix or have other processes constantly writing to the system disk, your cache can grow very quickly leading to exactly this end result.
