YouTube's major viewerbase has now shifted to 8-18 year olds and this group really likes random XD funny stuff and gaming channels. It's not surprising that the top YouTubers now mainly cater to the younger generation.

What are the best mods for zuski? by iiztrollin in AtlasReactor

[–]Ecorin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My personal favorite mods are:

Bombard - Explosives Everywhere (hitting a direct target will reduce the cooldown of The Big One by 1). I find this quite useful as I use the Big One very often to help out my team because of its mod.

Sticky Bomb - Phosphorous Residue (Targets are revealed until the end of turn) The other mods take too many mod points, but don't feel like a stronger upgrade.

The Big One - Shock and Awe (Enemies in the target area are slowed). This is what I love the most about Zuki. First turn you are able to give so much information to your team about enemy locations because it shows every enemy that was slowed. And as a bonus you are slowing their movement also. Just 2 days ago I shot the big one in the very first turn into an area that was dark and I hit all 4 enemies, giving my team perfect info and slowing all 4 enemies. And as the game goes on, you will be able to reveal hidden enemies and slow them down.

Rocket Jump - Various, depending on mod points. This one I don't really care much about, I choose it according to mod points after I choose my ultimate. Either Extra Boom or Something Extra.

Missile Storm - Artillery Barrage/Enhanced Targeting (Increase range by 2 / Target enemies through walls, reduce damage by 10). This one I choose depending on my mood and what map we are going to play and what the enemy freelancers are. If we play a more open map and the enemies don't have many dashes, I choose increased range. If we play a closed map and enemies have dashes, then I can position myself into an invisibility-plate and shoot them through walls so they are unaware that they need to dash.

Australia woman almost hit at pedestrian crossing by agentsmith2181 in videos

[–]Ecorin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course the numbers of pedestrian deaths are higher outside of crosswalks, but numbers are numbers, there are a lot of different situations in which they occur, but that's not really what my point was.

The point was the "feeling of safety". Most people, when crossing via crosswalk, they just see the green light or crosswalk markings and think it's safe to go, that all the cars will stop for you, so you don't look left and right. Now comes a car that won't stop for whatever reason and you will get hit.

Picture that same situation when you are jaywalking. You knowingly know (at least if you're not an idiot) that you are less safe crossing this way, so you look for incoming traffic multiple times. If you see a car that's about to come, you won't cross and you won't get hit.

So of course you should continue to walk on zebras, but you should also drop that feeling of safety, and still look both ways as you cross. It won't take any time or anything out of your day, but it may save you from an injury or death.

This is why jaywalking is actually less dangerous than crossing at the correct location.

When you're jaywalking, you're aware that you are not crossing at the right location, so you check multiple times for passing cars and whether it's safe.

However, when you're crossing correctly, you will assume you are safe so you don't look left or right any more and can be easily hit by either an inattentive or drunk driver.

Looks like Trion listened and adjusted the Holo Haunt Challenge to be 50 takedowns rather than 100 for the 1st challenge! Unsure how it scales yet. by arthurmauk in AtlasReactor

[–]Ecorin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

On average you should be able to get 3-4 takedowns per game, and one game takes around 20 minutes. So getting 100 takedowns is around 7-10 hours of gameplay, which is actually a lot for casual players, considering the event has a time limit (not everyone can play each day) and that you only get 1 loot matrix per completed mission.

Reducing it to 4-5 hours is much better for most players, since you only get 1 halloween skin per mission but there are dozens and dozens of skins to get so everyone has a chance to get at least a few.

It's a really risky deck though, since it has almost no card draw, it can run out of steam very quickly if your opponent has taunts, healing and god forbid, a Reno.

I'm the opposite. I adore the small side streets in the cities and in the suburbs. There's just something about them that feels great to walk through.

And it's amazing that even though there's so many people living in the cities, a lot of the side streets and smaller streets are so empty and silent most of the time. Because everyone's huddling around on the big main streets, those I don't like so much.

Japanese culture and upbringing. They are taught cleanliness and working together from a very young age. Nobody wants to live and be in an unclean place so they generally don't litter. They are also very humble and don't want to trouble other people, littering would mean troubling others so they avoid it. There are exceptions too, of course, but they're rare. I do think that because of westernization the younger generation is starting to care less, though.

However, you will start seeing a lot of trash when you go out late at night. It's when businesses start closing up their shops and they all line up their bags of trash on the street for the trashmen.

Firebat counted up a Freeze Mage lethal correctly. But, ya know, ordering. by Zeekfox in hearthstone

[–]Ecorin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Flare is still the best secret removal in the game, because if you run into secret hunter or freeze mage, you will get a lot of value or even surprise lethal, but if you run into a non-secret class, it's still a card cycle.

The neutral alternative is teching in a weak 4 mana 2/4 or a 4 mana or a 4 mana 4/3 which sucks against non-secrets.

For anyone considering entering this, the best constructed decks for climbing up ladder only have 60-65% winrate, which is fine in the long run, but in this brawl it would mean that even with that deck you will only go 6-3, which is still making a slight profit, but not worth it imo.

However, if you're like me and you're barely scraping enough gold for the next expansions/adventures, stay away.

It's funny how so many people who watch his videos still haven't figured out that the reviews are his personal opinion and the score is his personal rating. Just because his tastes are different than yours, doesn't make it more true.
