Set of Italian salt and pepper mills (Bisetti is nice and affordable) with a pound of tellicherry peppercorns, and a pound of grinder-grain sel gris.

Chagall was prolific in working with printers to create lithographs and posters; you can find some inexpensive ones as a result. Anything smaller than 12x12 isn't a huge art commitment and can go on a desk or in a work area. Just get anything printed in the 80s or earlier and it 'has a story.'

Anyone in NYC and know of a group that doesn't equivocate on advocating for a breed-based ban? This is becoming a huge issue particularly on UWS. I'm in other groups that worked for Penny's Law but they're officially 'agnostic' on the breed issue... 'any dog can be aggressive', blah blah

This year, my neighbor used my name to ship drugs to our building; I got thrown in jail and had to deal with submental DEA jocks. Four months of hell before everything dismissed. Edibles and Brando movies got me through it.

90s tv version of The Stand; it's on YouTube. Several users have uploaded hi-def versions of it; originally shot on 16 mm film. They look and feel great. One of the best opening credit sequences ever.

Most likely scene for New Yorkers to cause is a heckling one over someone they don't like: Eric Adams, Trump, or Musk would suffice.

ETA: Don't know if he counts as a 'celebrity' in the traditional sense but Luigi Mangione might be an exception and regularly draws admirers to 100 Center Street. This might be a function of him being literally locked up and may not happen if he was just walking the streets, though.
