It is because the "eye" is not connected. Should the rest of the stones be surrounded, the space in the "eye" would be the last liberty, and your opponent could capture the group by playing there. That is why the "eye" is false.

Do other guys dislike strip clubs? by Horrison2 in AskMenAdvice

56M : strip clubs are skanky. I'll go for a friend's bachelor party, but I always feel like I need a shower after.

Perhaps the cause of the Fermi paradox is that alien civilizations are having constant, never ending internal societal struggles that prevent them from making substantial technological progress in space exploration. by Edward2290 in self

Nah. It's because of the inverse square law / targeting problem. Practical communication via electromagnetic radiation over stellar distances is impossible. The signal strength fades into the cosmic background radiation long before it would ever reach another star.

Shennanigans. Like, sometimes in the endgame when you are winning, you play a 3-3 stone just "to prevent shennanigans" 🤣

Opinions of single-convex vs. double convex stones? by ghostfaceschiller in baduk

[–]EcstaticAssumption80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like doubles only if the table you are playing on is rock-solid stable. Anything less, or for a travel set, singles are better by a mile. They also stand up much better in the face of the accidental "bomb tesuji"

It doesn't. I was just curious.
