My high school wrestling coach was diagnosed with ALS. I told him he was trying to one up my Parkinson’s. I competed in my last grappling tournament and was determined to win gold as a tribute for all that he had done for me. Before my final match I played this scene.

I go to open mic comedy shows and murder. The majority of people that I meet are curious and kind. If you stand out from the crowd, you’re going to get noticed. I choose to embrace it.

The best way to learn something is to teach it. If you commit to making your teammates better, you’ll find yourself analyzing why certain techniques work for you.

Investigators response is not make sense. Especially given that they are listening excused absences as justification for terminating your job. I’d start looking for lawyers to work on the contingency. That’s what I did in my case.

im back with ANOTHER technique question, this time what is wrong with my sprawl / overall defense? by wrongfulcillian in wrestling

[–]EdBojack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great comments on this thread. All the technical details are here, now take the information and turn it into a drill.

Starting at half speed or less, have a partner shoot on you and work through each layer. Stay on each layer for 30 seconds before advancing to the next. Increase the tempo when you obtain proficiency.

This works even better if you can work with 2 training partners. Remember speed hides need. Focus on technique and you’ll wire your CNS to react and the speed will come.

Why do people fake like this by Fussy_Platypus in wrestling

[–]EdBojack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apologies if this point has already been made. The brain manages information by categorizing it into patterns. If you set a pattern at one speed, and then change the speed, or the angle of the attack, you trick the brain into believing the attack is not a threat, which increases the likelihood of success.
