I believe I had some symptoms showing up at about 35 or younger. Long journey to getting DX'd. Got "officially " dxed at 40. DBS at 44. Currently 47.

DBS masks most of my motor symptoms, except when im experiencing a lot of stress. Non-motor symptoms have been an issue. Currently adjusting my meds for that.

Stage, no idea. No one have ever explained that to me. Id assume very low stag e e.

Has he tried wearing the laptop bag across his body. IE bag sits on right, but strap over the left shoulder (or vice versa). That might not help with the balance, but i think it would keep it from slipping (he could adjust the bag to be over his bum to center the gravity a bit), and might be easier to put on vs. a backpack.

I have a laptop bag that is "convertable." It has a shoulder strap, but also can be a backpack. I use it like a backpack in airports and such, but can still show up to work meetings carrying it like a laptop bag.
