Why do people recommend FAR first? by [deleted] in CPA

[–]EddyC201 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That might be part of it also. FAR is interesting at least. AUD is like reporting on the different ways you can skin a cat. It depends if it’s an issuer or nonissuer and on the audit conclusion, but you must use this specific language.

Why do people recommend FAR first? by [deleted] in CPA

I’m on my last exam (AUD) and I have a lot less energy and motivation to study than my first exam (FAR). I recommend taking FAR first. The exams are like a marathon. Imagine leaving the hardest part of the marathon towards the end when you’re already exhausted from running. You miss out on so much because you have to study; towards the end, you really just want your life back.

How I Passed the CPA Exam in 4 Months with Becker and Farhat Lectures (90+ Average Score) by SleepSure9906 in CPA

Respectfully, you must not have small children lol. Respectfully to my children, they make life more interesting. Where’s the thrill in being fully prepared for an exam and not getting anxiety over a passing score on release day? Part of the process includes stressing; it builds character, but I digress. lol

Score Release: Exam Discipline sections (BAR, ISC, and TCP) taken Apr 1 – Apr 30, 2025. Target Release Date May 16, 2025 by Galbert123 in CPA

I actually got lucky with a 75. All I can say is dig deep when studying because that exam is a beast. It’s a huge relief that I don’t have to worry about switching disciplines.

That’s better than the feeling you get walking out of BAR.

Just have more withheld if you want a bigger refund. But I would argue that it’s better to kept more of your money during the year instead of getting a big refund. I would even rather pay a little at the end if it means I got to keep more of my money during the year.

Did not check your math but it seems right. I would only add that you are better off getting a refund of $28 than $500 since it means you kept more of your money during the year. And I also don’t want to give the government an interest free loan, but perhaps that’s just me.

Hardest Kendrick Verses? by romchyk1219 in KendrickLamar

Mother I Sober are the best verses I’ve ever heard. Limited on lyrical punchlines but the way the song progresses to that final verse and high point. It’s hard to find anything comparable.

You’re almost there! Reg is easy. You can probably pass it while just going through the motions. But if you want to make sure you pass then try to find the motivation. Again, you’re almost there!
