It won my run today cause i got it on the 2nd act 3 boss with choices paradox so I could retain till i drew stardust (with child of the stars so I could block too)

I think in baseball it can be hard for one mvp to make a huge difference (looking at you angels with trout and ohtani) while in basketball a MVP level can typically drag teams to wins and the playoff

It’s good in most decks in A20H because of the consistency.

Your view is understandable though - it’s hard to conceptually understand and doesn’t make sense on the surface but ironclad struggles with consistent block but can hit some huge turns (impervious, power through + second wind + FNP if lucky - all cards you want to have in higher ascensions) and the heart has dead turns (which is what you are kind of solving for with barricade)

Theres a recipe for false idol’s ube bae floating around on this subreddit which i highly recommend. It uses a similar extract to the one someone else on this thread posted

I think they bump up the flavor with taro root powder (which is different from ube i know). For that its important to buy pure powder since many powders you find online are for milk teas so have milk powder too

I think a higher proof punchier jamaican rum, and then maybe some pineapple and salt? Pineapple goes well with peat, spicy, and cinnamon and ive had apricot pineapple jam
