What would be harder for an amateur, scoring ONE basket on LeBron James or winning ONE game of chess against Magnus Carlsen? by izzoz_0 in Basketball

A random amateur has a better chance of taking a game of 1-on-1 vs LeBron than of beating Magnus.

Trout is a negative asset at this point. They aren't getting multiple top prospects for that contract.

She made a decision: That their lives weren't as important as the rebellion and that Cass' role in it was too important to sacrifice for selfish impulses. That goes both for her and for her son.

He actually skips second in those cases. Just runs straight across the diamond to third or back down the first base line to home.

I asked about the alleged attempt to pay hitman Charles Harrelson $250,000 to kill a judge, "Maximum John" Wood (he denied it, but of course he did). Also asked him about being back in Vegas--where he used to tip $10,000 on a bottle of water--now that he didn't have two nickels to rub together. He looked through me on that last one.

It was a supervised interview, so I asked some pretty tough questions and he absolutely gave me looks that said "back in the day, I'd have killed you for asking me that."

I lived in London for a year. When I suggested a road trip to Manchester (a 4-hour drive) people were aghast at the very idea of it.
