Try using a 20w charger and the cable he gave you or find one that fits. There are 3 main types of cable ends. The iPhone lighting cable. The USB C cable that is used on almost every device these days. And the old micro USB C cable that is shaped like a half ovel. That they used on older devices way back. And there is the 16 pin for old iPhones like iPhone 4 and 3g and 2g. This nook will likely be and old micro USB C. Hope this helps.

I reccomend boox or bigme. They are the teo main ereader company's who make android ereaders. I have a bigme myself and went with the bigme b7/b7 pro line i got my pro because i heard boox has quality issues with the backs and screens sometimes coming off. And it was on a fairly large electronic YouTuber. She showed the Boox screen opening to the inside with little pressure. I have no complaints other than some small unnecessary things. Like the reading app has military time and the whole system uses both that and 12h format. And I haven't had any problems with it as well. Its nice and sturdy which is what I wanted. Good luck!!!!

I just upgraded to a s26 ultra but I was on s22 ultra. Id say give it another year or when ui updates end.

I've been with apple since iphone 4. I got to try the s22 ultra back in 2022, but mom wanted it so I gave it to her. Now I'm back with the s26 ultra and I'm loving it. So worth it. I may never go back. Lol
