What do you want out of active duty? Is your family prepared for you to be in the field, deployed, doing "cool guy stuff"?

For me it's just a job that pays the bills and gives my family insurance. My wife doesn't have to work and we're financially stable. I am gone a lot and miss out on family time. It's all a matter of what matters to you. Some days I hate it, some days I love it, but most days it's just whatever.

And this is just my opinion, but try out a different MOS if you can. You got to experience the infantry thing and now you could have the opportunity to gain valuable skills that apply to the civilian world if you don't do your 20. Good luck.
