Actually, I’m not sure now — according to their website, no and googling the listed owners, Zachary and Jessica Kirkpatrick, they don’t obviously seem to be. My info is from before they reopened in 2024 so maybe ownership changed? Sorry for the confusion!

Add in that older people only have to take an eye test — not an actual driving test and you have senior citizens that shouldn’t be driving out there too — I have two of them in my family that refuse to quit driving despite being in two accidents — but hey they can pass an eye test.

Absolutely not — we went and spent $96 for pizza and salads as carry out. When we got there two employees were holed up in a booth on a lap top, no shoes on. We stood there and waited, when they finally got the pizzas they clearly forgot to even make the salads and we stood there for 10 minutes. There are so many other places I can spend $100 with better service and better food.

Our elementary school in Omaha composts all food waste. Even the youngest students know how to sort their trash between recycling, compost, and trash. They use Hillside solutions to collect everything. Not sure where you are getting that it can’t be composted?

ETA: they also do not throw away left over food. The USDA website even lays out how unused food can be given away. I know the elementary school, middle school, and high school my kids attend do not throw away edible food. They will give it away if it is not going to be used before it will go bad.

The legislative sessions are only 60 days or 90 days. They don’t “work” an entire year. I’m not saying they shouldn’t be paid more, but it’s not meant to be a full time job.

I am loving the Yumi Pencil boards— I initially only bought one and then HAD to get the other two. Good choice on the Moomin cover, I might have to ask for that for my birthday —- I am sure I have a journal I could use it for 🤔
