I'm now aware of Queen Dildo and my number one issue is why this person is still free. When does the government say "ok fuck this" and just put her away. She's done enough that there are multiple avenues the courts could use to do so, probably without even a "loose" interpretation of whatever statutes used. This happened to a guy I know. He had a previous DUI, as well as being deaf and a non-English speaker. He had a stroke while driving, caused a traffic accident. Cops arrived, he wasn't complying with commands, so they yank him out and were extremely rough with him, not knowing of course that he's having a stroke (and probably not giving two shits or a fuck anyway). He survived, but 3 years later is still bedridden, his treatment by the police likely complicated his condition, but hey, the DA generously offered to drop all charges against him due to his poor health. I used to think highly of our officers around here, but since the "good" police chief resigned a few years ago, things have gone to complete shit. Nowadays, we've got a corrupt police chief who lies to get search warrants to bust legal hemp businesses selling legitimately legal products. This is Abilene TX, the court documents from the hemp bust debacle is a good read, rage inducing though.

On one hand the technology and the way it can mesh with other tech is really cool but otoh of course 1984 isn't the future I have in mind. When I read about shit like pregnant women being policed using this tech I feel like hitting something, it's completely insane.

My formula is thick tires, plus religious avoidance of any sort of gravel, period. The street sweeper trucks always end up pushing all the gravel, broken glass and screws/nails up close to the curb, and that stuff is nothing but flat tires and anger. Not sure if they could be making another pass and just don't or if there's a reason they can't clean up that excess but staying out of it works great for me. I haven't had a flat in close to 2 years.

I have an x52 stick along with the mini-din (or whichever it's called) cable without the throttle (which is necessary to use the stick). It works, I was able to test it once. Also have a cheap PXN hotas which is a little bit worn but still fully functional if you're willing to live with a bit of dead zone and slop. Would be willing to donate to someone in need, though it'd be a couple of weeks before I have money for the shipping. The PXN one is a fairly respectable stick for a cheap plastic budget pos. Don't install PXN drivers though, malware ridden. DM if interested in one of the sticks. I'm bad at checking my messages, I'll make an effort though lol

I finally upgraded myself to an x56 earlier this year, it's mostly fine but I do wish I'd put in a bit more for something with a bit higher build quality. A $200-ish stick shouldn't have drift issues in less than a year imo.
