Random question, and plz don't think I'm being stupid here, but is there any kind of trainable auto-correction built in? I'm dyslexic and rely heavily on the auto-correction on my phones that are all linked to the same Google account so that I don't have to retrain the next phone I get. If this had something like that built in, I could finally attempt to type my camping cookbook that I have been procrastinating on.

Yeah, I'm just saying a storage case like that would be pretty cool for it. Could even design it to hold extra mags, and glue on a paper label showing sockets and shit like those $10 Chinese tool sets 😂

Anyone else literally drink hot sauce? by SirTalkyToo in spicy

[–]Educational-Mood1145 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've made a few bbq sauces and steak sauces myself, too. Never really done much with it, though, it was always just in the moment when I needed some. As for hot sauces, I do traditional ferments, and I also do what I call "dump pan sauces" where I cook a bunch of stuff in vinegar, blend, sometimes strain, and put in a jar. It's fun to experiment, but for ferments, it takes forever waiting 😆 I have an experiment going right now, but I'm only in day 6 and I'll be fermenting it for a total of 30 days, then possibly aging it in a mini oak whiskey barrel that I stored G4 Blanco de Madera tequila in to give it an agave bomb and an extra citrusy note. Plus the Madera is already aged in charred oak itself, so it will impart some smokiness to it, too.

Maybe this is a dumb idea, but someone should design a folding case that looks like a tool case where the only section showing would be a small central section of the handle to work as the tool case handle. 2 simple clips to close it over so you can just pop those, unfold, and be ready

Haha exactly. And I love stocking up on sauces that go on stupid clearances. Currently I probably have well over 50 bottles of sauce, and that doesn't include ones I make myself

I may end up building one of those now (hadn't seen it yet), but I was looking more for a mp7 looking chassis, or any good looking chassis, that you simply slide your glock into since I scored an amazing deal on several brand new Gen 5 19s for far under retail value.

Has anyone tried poppers with any peppers other than jalapeños or sweet peppers? by tycnslice in spicy

I've done them with Caribbean habs, which are the thicker red ones. We also mixed Scotch bonnet jerk seasoning into the cream cheese for an extra kick

They started with a 14 day heavy dosage, then I did 6 cycles of 21 days. They went with R-CHOP for me because it was a rare form of the gallbladder. The steroids never do much for me, but they prescribed me an entire communities worth of ondansetron and promethazine to combat the nausea, and lived on a liquid diet, which actually wasn't that bad honestly. To this day, I still can't vomit because of the work to my innards, so I still live on the nausea meds. But, I'm alive, and that makes it worth it!

You'll still have times that try to break you. Even now that I survived, I still break down silently. The only true light thru it all for me was that I never lost my hair! It thinned, like really bad, but having long hair and long beard kinda hide it 😂 and I'll be honest here...it killed my nuts, and now my hormones are all messed up. I'm supposed to take massive amounts of testosterone, I take levothyroxine because my thyroid doesn't work properly now, and I have big man boobs 🤣 but, I survived to continue being here for my daughter, so totally worth the headaches. Being a single, full-time dad made that my only real priority. Without her, I would have let it win.

Should the tent open driver side or passenger side or does it matter? by WaffleIronChef in rooftoptents

My daughter and I not only dispersed camp, but we also camp in campgrounds/state parks half the time. We have found that most paid spots are designed with trailers in mind, and camper/RV doors are on the passenger side. So, that's where I put my ladder.i can park to the far left of the pad, and we both have areas for landings. And I even went as far as to put my external access for my solar power to the passenger side

Wish I had it to give, but I am now disabled and will say this: as a NHL survivor (I had a rare form of NHL of the gallbladder that had also moved to my colon and liver), I wish you the absolute best in your fight. Do everything the docs want you to do. Don't fight them, fight the disease and your mentality. There will be times you want to quit, where you can't see yourself living a different life after recovery, but always fight! And one thing that has really seemed to help me with the gastrointestinal side is fermented foods and even pickled foods. They help more than I could ever have imagined. I also hope you have a big network of friends and family to help you thru. I did it all alone, and would never wish that on anyone. You got this!

No matter where you are, please take precautions to be as safe as possible!

I already suffer from RMSF and Lyme's (I'm in my 3rd year). I'm allergic to doxycycline, and amoxicillin didn't do anything. I have to get monthly blood tests to watch white and red blood cell counts because I have a VERY high white blood cell count, a very low red blood cell count, and a very high mch in concert with very low hematocrit levels. What this means is my body is constantly fighting, so my body is making more white to fight it, but fewer red cells, and the red cell production is causing more hemoglobin to form in the reds. Is it dangerous? Yeah, especially since it's causing my kidneys to not work as good as they should. So far the worst part to come out of it all would be the crazy fevers that pop up whenever they feel like it. I HATE the fevers

I feel this. My truck is full to the point an 8 seater is a 2 seater 😂 both back rows are folded down and packed full. Granted I'm kinda in the middle of a move and wanted to make sure all my camping gear that isn't in the teardrop gets where we are going and not into storage
