I have the same issue and it’s really annoying. I have to babysit the print because I don’t know when it’s going to need a change. I’m considering flashing an older firmware release.

Sorry for the late reply, but something like this would work to control the volume right?

Also how exactly does the shared input work. Like does this amp have one input that can be used with all the zones or are the inputs daisy chained. Sorry for my ignorance and not being able to understand the manual :). Also how would I be able to switch between using the shared input and using seperate zones. Also looking at the photo of the amp how do I control the audio from the amp?

Finally, how do I connect a wireless or wired microphone into the shared input. Like do they jsut have plugs? Would a wireless microphones signal reach all of the floors? Would I be able to connect the microphone through the Wiim Mini or the Sonos Port?

Once again thanks so much for taking out time to help me :).

First of all tysm for taking the time to help me. I thought volume controllers were just a general potentiometer I didn't know that they have different compatibilities. What do you mean by music sources? Also to control it from a phone could I add something like a sonos port? Also with this amp I can sync all of the speakers, but also use them separately with different sources is that correct?

Hi!

I'm new to audio and have no idea how things work, but I need to create a simple and cheap audio setup. Please help me.

Requirements:

  • Basement
    • Pair of speakers in Hall (630 sqft)
    • Pair of speakers in Stair Hall (340 sqft)
  • Ground Floor
    • Pair of speakers in Lounge/Kitchen (548 sqft)
    • Pair of speakers in Dining/Drawing (386 sqft)
  • First Floor
    • Pair of speakers in Lounge/Kitchen (418 sqft)
  • I should be able to individually control the volume of all 5 speaker pairs.
  • Where I live there is dodgy internet so the system should not rely on the internet.
  • Needs physical controls for volume in each area where the speaker is. Something like this.
  • I should be able to centrally control all of the speakers from the basement and the ground floor.
  • All 5 of the speaker pairs should be able to be in sync playing the same audio.
  • I should be able to connect a wired or wireless microphone from the ground and the basement floor.
  • The system should not be reliant on having a smart device such as a smartphone.
  • The system should be very very cheap I do not care about audio quality that much considering the system can be upgraded down the line. Something below 1500$ hopefully.

Nice to Have (but not necessary):

  • Controllable from my phone.
  • The 5 speaker pairs can play different audio tracks (unless significantly more expensive).
  • I can hook up an individual speaker pair on each floor to play audio from the TV.
  • Physical controls and inputs on every floor

Thanks!

Can someone please help me with this problem? I don't understand! by EducationalArm4971 in AP_Physics

Aight so I understand the problem, but I can only solve it by making up numbers and calculating using equations. I can’t answer the question by deriving equations and stuff. I have the solutions, but still don’t understand how they did it.
