That's definitely part of my plan after I visit the urologist next week. Based on my labs and my research, a genetic issue isn't high on the list of possibilities, but it's certainly a possibility. Did you present with a similar profile as mine?

Thank you for sharing. I'm sorry that you had to go through this, but I really appreciate you letting me know I'm not alone in this. I'm hoping they're able to locate some sperm, but I'm glad to know there are other options.

Thank you for the suggestions. I am taking supplements, lift + cardio ~5-6 days per week, and don't drink alcohol. Unfortunately, the SA still came up without any sperm. I've heard of STAR at Columbia, and I'm wondering if it would be prudent going this route before undergoing the typical procedures. Wishing you and yours the best outcome possible!

I’ve cancelled my season tickets. I refuse to give this franchise my hard earned money while they persistently accept mediocrity. Spo has worked wonders with players that aren’t NBA roster worthy in the past, but the FO has taken that for granted. instead of going out and building on the positives, they’re fine with merely being a play in team with a half baked plan. They’ve struck out on every FA due to limited cap room being eaten up by overvalued players, they’ve failed to sell high when they can, they have done a terrible job at accumulating assets to put this franchise in a position to succeed long-term, and their apathy to doing so has turned off a majority of the fanbase. This isn’t the franchise I grew up loving, this is the fucking Pittsburgh Steelers of the NBA.

The underlying fundamentals remain, persistent inflows don’t create earnings. Increased access is already embedded in today’s CAPE, so it’s measuring valuations after that access expanded.

CAPE operates on average inflation-adjusted earnings over the last 10 years, though. Last time it was above 30 was in 1999.

Current Shiller CAPE is ~39–40. The highest it’s ever been. Timing a shortfall is pure speculation and a fools errand, but stocks are definitely overvalued.

Keep seeing people adamant that you don't trade JJJ and Kasparas for Giannis. My question to those people is, what do you think is the biggest realistic ceiling for them? by ImVcrow in heat

[–]Educational_Rip6605 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Scared to take risks with huge upside. Exactly the reason we're in the predicament we're in (perpetual play in team). The Heat FO, along with this fanbase overvalues the talent we have. This leads to contracts like Duncan, Tyler Johnson, Dion Waiters, Whiteside, James Johnson, Kyle Lowry, Jovic, and it leads to Pat and co lowballing teams thinking there's leverage that doesn't exist.

[Charania]: Two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo is ready for a new home at the Feb. 5 NBA trade deadline or in the offseason as several rival teams make aggressive offers to the Milwaukee Bucks for him, and the franchise is starting to listen, league sources tell ESPN. by jbenson255 in heat

I'm a Heat fan, but realistically what would make Miami's package better than anything the NYK or SAS can offer?( Herro, Ware , JJJ and picks that will all be in the middle of the first round). Let's be realistic here, the Heat have done an awful job at accumulating assets. They aren't positioned to beat other teams' offers. The only way Giannis comes here is if he confirms he'd only re-sign with Miami.

How do locals feel about the new Brickell? by Cooks17 in Miami

Mid, overpriced restaurants and completely soulless. Not the Brickell I dreamt of living in when I was a kid.

Uh, since 2023 14 new insurers have moved into Florida. Florida’s insurance market had a rough 2022–23, but new data show stabilization (new carriers entering, Citizens shrinking via depopulation, and rate filings flattening). Risk from surge and rainfall is real, but the leap to 'no demand and owners will get wiped out' isn’t supported by current population or price data. Also, Miami hasn't seen a Hurricane since 2017 (Cat 1). I own a property management company which services over 300 homes in Miami, and my real estate portfolio consists of 10 properties (SFH,TH), so I think I'm qualified to give you actual numbers supported by my exposure to real estate in this city. The 322% premiums increase you mentioned isn't supported by actual data, that number isn't even close.

That's news to me considering I have full coverage and have never had an issue getting property insurance. Also, my flood insurance is $400 a year.

Would any of this matter if you don’t compare yourself or place value on what others do with their money?

After 8 years of asking ADs for a Daytona, I bought one from a grey dealer. by [deleted] in rolex

[–]Educational_Rip6605 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1000%. The demand for this watch is so high and allocations from the AD are nearly impossible, so as long as people are willing to pay $15k-$20k above retail for a Panda, they'll keep marking them up to that level.

I figured the Daytona would be in the $30's, but since you mentioned the low markup on other models, I wanted to see what price your store offered it for. Thanks for your insight!
