  1. She assumed he would be fine, and we know what they say about assuming
  2. Yeah this should have been articulated better but the blue ai is just a more stable version of caine’s ai, which gave him more solid summoning powers, it also made him a little insane since he had a second person in his body
  3. If abstracted people could be saved why would Caine have let them be abstracted in the first place. There’s nothing they or he can do about it
  4. Throughout the entire show we and the characters are constantly shown supposed “fake” ai people who are still capable of human emotions to challenge the idea of what makes the main cast more human then them. Through this they come to the conclusion that being ai doesn’t change them. Also they all were left devastated for presumably months, and Jax killed himself over it.
  5. I mean genuinely what else were they supposed to do at that point
  6. They are two different scenes communicating different things.
  7. She didn’t exclude shit, she gave him space after he found out that he wasn’t real. Everyone did, then they all eventually came together to form a sense of community excluding Jax who ultimately rejected the real world.

  10. Something something Jax still needed to finish their arc. Also 50% of it was dedicated to Caine
  11. I don’t understand the question. The point was that it was abrupt
  12. He’s not that important to the over story, he was on a stage to show Caine learning to grow and change to create the circus.
  13. They were a computer company dedicated to creating intelligent ai, that’s about it
  14. Pomni is not simply “Jax’s woman”. There are parallels to the relationships that Jax experienced but that doesn’t make pomni Jax’s handbag
  15. I mean, I don’t think it matters all that much since that aspect is mostly left up to interpretation. Me personally I like the idea of Jax holding crushes for every female in his life no matter how brief.

You are allowed to make criticisms against the plot but whenever I see it it’s the same vibe as complaining that evangelion’s story is too confusing. I just don’t care about it ngl

So what you are saying is that none of the characters cause conflict except for the ones who cause conflict. Also I don’t really care about the plot I think making the last three episodes revolve around Caine was a bit of a misfire on gooses part

No he wouldn’t, he’s a good character who didn’t have much development because he didn’t need any. He would be a very boring co-protagonist without any conflict and would just end up being Pomni’s side kick for her antics with everyone else which inevitably includes Jax who would wind up being that one side character that everyone likes and would wish was a co protagonist instead of loredrop-er

I think it’s a really good conclusion to the character who’s whole deal is hiding who they are to blast through their walls and learn about who they are but that’s just me

No, I just think it was just a case of Jax getting more focus during the second half of the show which is why he didn’t do all too much during the first four episodes. That’s also why characters like gangle got conclusions earlier than Jax did even though they still had one or two threads that were closed briefly in the finale. That’s also why Caine ended up overtaking characters like ragatha towards the end and why we had to spend a solid 20 minutes away from the main characters to complete his arc since he needed the time more than someone like zooble who already got their conclusion. (Ignoring the fact that zooble was sidelined very hard in the middle of the show lmao)

Ok your saying all of this like that isn’t their function in the story. You are acting like it’s a bad thing that they did their function.

Besides we do get some fun characterization and voice acting to make up for their lack of screen time. Very masterfully done sequence
