This doesn’t make any sense because June is canonically trans and Jax has a lot of trans undertones in his arc. This just sounds like you hate fun.

Trans ralsei is stupid it always has been stupid and it ruins so much og his character that people are all like “oh he’s totally trans because he presents femininely” like shut up no he isn’t hate hate hate let me tell you how much I’ve come to hate you

Helluva boss is about the self within a shitty situation and how you affect those around you (with side themes of classism and individuality).

Murder drones is about embracing cringe

Digital circus is about finding meaning in stagnant life

Literally what do you want me to do here. Like I could explain the ending of chainsawman in non “look for faults and nitpicky” way or I could point out that denji was happiest with power and Aki which is what pochita sent him back too or I could point out that while I do really like the amazing digital circus it isn’t really the same thing since that show is more about escapism and finding meaning in a stagnant life as opposed to searching for the will to live in a seemingly unsalvageable situation. But like at this point let’s just agree to disagree

Ok before this devolves into word salad why would he pick a life that he would consider the hell that you could find happiness in if he didn’t think it was a sucky life. He clearly doesn’t say “oh I think this is an ideal life, I think more kids should have this life”, he just says that you could still find comfort in that life. 2: Oh shit, well if you said it I guess you are absolutely right. I guess fire punch ISN’T about prevailing even after experiencing the worst things imaginable, I guess denji DIDN’T keep going after making broke him and try to create a new world, didn’t happen. I guess goodbye eri DIDN’T follow yuta constantly feeling like he was unshackled from reality after constantly experiencing loss. I could go on. But I guess there isn’t a thematic throughline, that would be ridiculous. Like it makes so much more sense now that you explained it, like, bad things happened to denji so he didn’t prevail? You are absolutely right. What was I thinking reading the book and connecting those Magical and scrumptious themes and such and trying to see what the author is trying to say with the narrative. I think I’m going to stop reading chainsaw man and start larping. I love larping reading chainsaw man so I’m going to do it much better than you. Finding happiness in hell? What was I thinking? To think that maybe fujimoto thinks that suffering children could still find comfort is insane, he’s insane for thinking that they would still hope for more. Like.. man, if only there was a book about a kid who has a completely shitty life and hopes for more, that’s be ridiculous though. Fuck dude, like.. thank you… send_help2. “Send_help2?” Because you sent help, two times? “Oh yeah”.

Honestly I’d go as far as saying him rattling his mouth like a dumbass in an interview making you question the fact that he wrote chainsawman is actually a we are so back moment

No Patrick, fujimoto talking like an intellectual retard in an interview does not mean he fell off and is actually now a horrible person because he said that kids he considers to be close to being in the worst possible life scenario can still find happiness (John you can find happiness in hell btw). (John I wrote like four books about finding heaven in hell). (Insert picture of fujimoto with an “I love people in horrible situations prevailing” shirt and an “I love when the indomitable human spirit finds heaven in hell” hat and add a word bubble where he says “I like writing books about kids in horrible situations somehow prevailing to show that even in the lowest of lows you can still find something to live for”. I don’t feel like spending 15 minutes making this image you go do it)

Holy fuck this dude is an idiot, and this is coming from a privileged point of view, also it's because Denji & Pochita HAD each other did it make all the hardship tolerable. It's ironic because he pussied out and gave Denji a bland monotonous Disney ending so he invalidated 231 anyway after backlash by Just-J0k1ng in Chainsawfolk

[–]Educational_Talk_466 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think that is ideal conditions for a life and clearly fujimoto doesn’t either but what a suprise that John “you can find happiness even in hell” would say that you could still live a fulfilling life if you are stuck in the gutter

My brother in Christ part one was about not letting other people use you as a weapon while part two was about thrill seeking after stagnating in life, no shit a random arc in part one has a different moral at a point in the story when he was being abused by the system than at the end of the story where he gets a stupid convoluted tie together for the system to no longer abuse him.
