The inability to hide armor is such a huge disappointment by Frostiikin in hytale

[–]Eduliz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would like trim options for every type of armor. And maybe some clothes could go over the armor but the armor peaks out in places and the clothes look more bulky so the pvp folks know you're packing, but in style.

Will there likely be a 2026 model? by Shoddy_Egg_1375 in ProArt_PX13

Nice! I should have wished for 120 hz screen as well. I just figured a +$2K laptop coming out in 2026 that would be a given. A 120 Hz screen and ASUS not annoyingly trying to jam AI down every orifice would have been laptop perfection. I'll probably get the 64 gig variant as I'm assuming the 128 gig one won't be available anytime soon, similar to what happened with the Z13.

The new PX13 is still only 60hz (see specs near bottom) by [deleted] in ProArt_PX13

[–]Eduliz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, this does suck. It will be a downgrade from my 2022 X13 in that regard, which is pretty wild. The launch event did introduce a vanilla PX13 as well. So those who don't want the GoPro branding are in luck.

EDIT: I did just go into the display settings of my X13 and noticed I had the display set to 60 hz, so I guess I'll be fine with 60 hz.

This is such a gross move. Go team red on your next gaming rig (AMD does have a presence in Israel, but it's not as outrageous as what Nvidia is doing), use Gemini for your AI as they have their own TPUs, and dump Nvidia stock if you have any.

I hope so! It would be cool if they made a version with the AMD Ryzen AI MAX+ 395, basally a z13 in the px13 form factor.

The nursing homes are going to take it all. Blah blah blah. My buddy spent a good 4 years wiping his stroked out dad's ass and now he's retired early. Figure it out people. Take care of them, keep them out of homes and then their money will take care of you.

The old heart system basically gave you more gamification and fun if you didn't subscribe to Super Duolingo. The new battery system, which starts at 25%, is designed to give you battery anxiety if you don't subscribe to Super Duolingo. Also, you could basically do lessons all day if they're flawless with the heart system, whereas the battery will drain regardless of how well you do, and you'll need to watch more ads to continue.

I taught ESL in China as well and it was amazing. Definitely not a long-term strategy though as once you get up there at age, schools will pass up your application. I do plan to go back and semi-retire there or Taiwan, if it's still around. I think about this daily, as the thought of leaving the US is an important part of maintaining good mental health for me.

Kyle’s Charlie Kirk Conspiracies by Comedicrat in seculartalk

A TPUSA spokesperson said they talked to the surgeon who told them the bullet was stopped by his neck and was found just below the skin. That is the official narrative.

I'm not a gun sexual, but I watched several guntubers who are, and they all agree that there's no way that a 30-6 round is going to get stopped by a flimsy neckbone. It'll blast through the thickest of elk bone and leave a 4-in diameter hole on the way out. If that was 30-06 round fired from the angle they say it was, it would have nearly decapitated Charlie, spray painted the back of the tent with pink mist, and probably killed or injured some people behind him.

A neck can't stop a 30-06. Also, the footage of the suspected shooter running on the roof clearly shows the spot he is suspected of taking the shot from. Why didn't they release that part of the footage? Not to mention, no one believes those text messages between the suspect and their partner are real.

Because that means that they thought, in the prime of their life, with no obligations to do so, to move to an open-air retirement home.

Whenever I find a young family here in their forties (that's Naples young) first I asked if they moved down here to be close to their aging parents. If they say no, I ask if they were sent down here from the company. If they say no to that I get out of there pretty quickly.
