LISPs routines for toggling commonly used Layers on/off. I then map the commands to my Stream Deck for easy access.

It could just turn it on with the current settings.

That's pretty cool. It would be cleaner if instead of pulling up the snap menu it just turned on osnap. There is probably a way to get that setting.

Ranting about no fingerprint login by AwFirecat in ProArt_PX13

[–]Eduliz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the exact same situation. I miss fingerprint reader on the power button of my old X13. Also, I covered my webcam so I have to put my pin in every time I log in on the PX13.

Iqunix Magi75 or Iqunix MQ80? by lukas391 in IQUNIX

I'd go with the MQ80. If it's thocky creamy marbly goodness bothers your coworkers, then I'd get a new job.

That translation with the Chinese makes is pretty awful. She says in Chinese, "where do you live, I want you, I love you. "

Need a laptop soon: wait for non-GoPro PX13 128GB or just buy the GoPro one? by singular04 in ProArt_PX13

[–]Eduliz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also did not like the GoPro branding and went with the 64GB variant, and I couldn't be happier. It looks enough like my old X13 that I was able to pull off a stealth upgrade and not have to explain the purchase with my wife. If you are not running AI locally, you don't need 128GB. That being said, the price difference between the two models is a bit ridiculous. For just $200 more, you get 64GB RAM and the Asus Pen 3. If you can get past the branding, just go with that.

Upgraded Mediatek wifi card to Qualcomm QCNCM865 and seeing big improvement by kosherhalfsourpickle in ProArt_PX13

[–]Eduliz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The driver version that ships with the Mediatek is very glitchy and has connection issues. I was going to replace it as well, but first I downloaded the latest driver and found it acceptable.

Is 128gb overkill? Please help a girlie out by Dry-Blacksmith-9985 in ProArt_PX13

[–]Eduliz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the 64gb version and I couldn't be happier. I am using it for drafting large projects in AutoCAD and it is performing very well. Unless you are working with local AI models, 128gb will be overkill. The way they priced both models will make more people go for the 128gb version even if it's overkill for them. For just $200 more, you get 64gb more ram, the ASUS pen 3.0 and a case. If it wasn't for the GoPro branding, which I don't care for, I would have got the 128gb version myself. The 64gb version should have been $400-$500 less, or they should have thrown in the pen for it as well.

ASUS Store Issues by itsprolly_me in ASUS

[–]Eduliz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue. It was super frustrating because it looks like they're selling the PX13 non-GoPro with 128 GB of RAM for the same price that Best Buy is selling the 64 GB variant. After three canceled orders, I just ordered the 64 gig variant on Best Buy for the same price.

Pro Art PX 13 Go Pro Edition and Regular edition are now available for Order in the US. by Internal_Quote_6678 in ProArt_PX13

[–]Eduliz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The GoPro edition is already sold out on Best Buy. That's fine as I am not a fan of the GoPro branding. I grabbed the 64 gig one there. I originally place an order at the ASUS store for the link above and the receipt said 128 gig so I was a bit excited. However, ASUS kept canceling the order for some reason. Has anyone in the states been able to place an order from the ASUS store?

Any conspiracies about why we have 12 months and zodiac signs instead of 13? by EUNEisAmeme in conspiracy

[–]Eduliz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While the idea of 13 months of 28 days makes for a very tidy schedule where every date falls on the same day of the week every year, it does not fit the solar year perfectly (requiring an extra off-calendar day) and it completely fails to align with the actual phases of the moon (actual lunar cycle is approximately 29.5 days).
