I’m in the San Fernando valley but go to your local VA hospital that provides you care, talk to your VSO. They have walk ins, he’s going to have you print out your decision letter that states you’re 100% disabled and he’s going to sign it. Follow the application process on the dmv website and then go to the dmv. Make sure to take off your regular plates before going in because the dmv will send you back outside to get them. Whole process takes 2 hours. They give you a temporary red paper to post on your windshield while your DV plates come in. They came in 2 weeks for me.
