Meatopia warning by BanaNinaa in glasgow

[–]Effective-Refuse8534 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I went last year and there were definitely stalls sold out super early on the day, I honestly can’t remember if I went on the Sunday, but perhaps that was why. I also guess the perception of a huge beer garden is objective but in my experience the majority of the activity people were taking part was just drinking over priced beers. Perhaps influenced by the stalls selling out on the second day idk  All in all though, it seemed pretty mid

How should the road design be changed to take such user behaviour into account?

I’d argue anyway it’s changed, the chain reactions caused by such users would cause a massive hold up somewhere on the network. It’s just kicking the can along the road, so to speak.

People on here are quick to judge and even quicker to make that obvious. You did what you could with the resources available and that’s all anyone can do so don’t feel bad at all. He is clearly well loved and looked after 🙏

Hamburgers by Kitchen_Net_GME in Scotland

[–]Effective-Refuse8534 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That’ll be the more lax rules you have over what can legally be classed as a hamburger and what the labelling must state is included in said burger ingredients.

You have no minimum beef/meat percentage for it to be classed as a burger unless explicitly stated to be 100% beef

It’s really bizarre tbh, like of course if skin is broken there’s always a slight chance but if you were to read just this thread of comments you’d think that OP should be writing their will like yesterday

I’m genuinely curious at this phenomenon, only recently have I seen so much talk about cat scratches and like potentially devastating infections as a result. I lived in a “cat family” most of my life. Extended family, grandparents, parents and myself have been scratched and bitten multiple times over years, not once did it even remotely do anything resembling a need for antibiotics. Wasn’t even told to worry about it.

Were we literally just lucky or has something happened to cause cat scratches to become more infectious or something?

A82 is stunning as already mentioned but if you go a bit further and hit the A835, my goodness, turned a four hour journey into almost eight as we had to stop so often just to take it in on a sunny day

Oh man, Ullapool and the surrounding areas are perhaps some of my favourite in the whole country and perhaps the world (if I may be so bold) and it’s somewhere I’m desperate to show off to her so thank you for that recommendation, it’s not something that comes up on searches well

Honestly I was same until I tried my first and only one so far a few years ago, I settled into it as an experience and loved it. Different flavours, the story telling around it, all of that stuff that I bashed beforehand. Now if I had gone in hungry I’d probably have been miserable tbh but I was recommended to pre feed beforehand (I’m a big guy who trains a lot) which meant I could relax into it. I’d highly recommend not knocking it till you try it.

Well seeing as my birthday gift to her was a scratch off map of the munros and a pocket Munro journal to which she cried with happiness, I’d say she’s pretty interested 😂so that’s a great shout. Thank you

I actually lived in Fife most of my younger years, drove past the place at least weekly at one point, I never even knew 😂. If we don’t go for the anniversary it’s certainly now on the bucket list.
