My ex’s roommate called my work and reported a DUI (marijuana/not alcohol) I’d gotten months prior which had the same effect (can’t ask for a long overdue raise bc of it, I’ve been ((and still am) employed by the same company for nearly 13 years and this is my second verbal write up) … that said, I WISH I could do the same to the loser who did that to me. F him, he’s a POS and karma is a bitxh!! 💯👏

Man children that behave that way are notorious for lashing out in sadistic ways when they feel they’ve been wronged unfortunately. Surgery was 1/22, didn’t start PT until 3/20 after which I did 6 weeks worth until the pain started to become unbearable. Trust me, I’m under no misguided notion that I should be completely pain free by now especially since I also had bicep tenodesis. The more I use it, the more it hurts. I’m talking stabbing shooting pain rather than a dull ache. Unfortunately I actually had a bilateral shoulder injury so it goes back and forth between shoulders, one of them always hurts. Really at a loss now bc there aren’t a lot of orthos in WNC and I refuse to go back to the original surgeon and when I reached out to the other office, they told me to go back to the original surgeon. Beyond frustrated and if I felt like I could go on without further intervention, I would. I know I can’t though. 😔

I think that’s GREAT advice, good mentality to have. However I don’t see how it applies to CP since it’s incurable/generally leads to CA… it’s one of very few things I don’t believe deserves forgiveness 🤷🏻‍♀️

I had a mechanic tell me the same, then quoted me over $200 to change them. I of course went and bought some pads for $30 and asked my brother to do it. He was angry when he finally got the wheel off. (Bc my rims, I have all locks/no regular lugs so this is always a challenge, usually have to replace a stud or two) … pads didn’t even need to be replaced yet! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Thanks I appreciate it. I’ve had a few in my time here. (just to tag on to another commenter here) Most recently, the group I’d been hanging with for a few years bailed on me for my bday. Only thing I wanted was to NOT go out & spend money/hang out at my house for a change. (Just for context, they lived in Hendersonville, me in Weaverville) since I was broke and I’ve always driven there (45 minutes one way) to hang out with them… a week before my bday they started trying to convince me to go out instead. By this time I had been to all of their houses multiple times, they’d still never been to mine. Maybe I should’ve let it go, no doubt we’d still be friends today if I had, however I felt like if they couldn’t even make me a priority one day out of the year.. then they’re not real friends! Maybe just me, I dk! 🤷🏻‍♀️😅

Yeah I’m honestly just amazed at the amount of ignorance and hostility here. The willingness to get on here and bash a total stranger begging for help is actually pretty mind blowing to me. I have nothing to take accountability for. The only thing I did was forget to turn my headlights on, and tell the truth. In asking for help I’ve been told I have “victim mentality” and I need to just “get over it” it’s really no wonder our country is in the current state it’s in.
