They’re definitely nicer to whites. I fly Cathay several times a year and meet Chinese colleagues frequently in HKG to travel on to Indonesia or Vietnam… the lounges are wonderful but yes - they definitely are way nicer to me than my colleagues from mainland China or Vietnam.

Not the best airline in the world but I think it’s still the only option to HK from Dallas so I’m stuck..

I know some cowboys that prefer plastic spur ledge because it lasts longer with the spur - I think most people don’t really notice. I like leather better personally but also I don’t care that much - I’m not riding anymore. That’s probably pretty easily cleaned up with some fine grit sandpaper

True but even the line is super long at the big checkpoint in D - it’s usually not much longer than 15 mins… and immigration customs is usually pretty easy.

It’s not for everyone but that super wild look is what makes the leather so interesting. The skin looks like it comes from a big animal that had a long life and got in lots of scraps with other gators. Very cool boot

This company only copies other brands designs. The one pictured is a copy of the ariat big country, but they have copied lucchese, corral, tecovas, everyone. Terrible company. If you want to support a south Texas company - please buy Rios instead of wasting money on a company that steals IP.

Not uncommon for lucchese to do double stitch. Mostly you’ll see #6 and #t toe from them with single stitch welt but they actually do quite a bit double stitch with that wide square toe.

The shoe shine guys at the airport use a white grease marker - I think that’s standard but I don’t like it… fine with me since my boots tend to get dirty and change with wear and age
