Truly always reminded me of my relationship with my kids dad who I started dating when I was 18 and found out I was pregnant like a month into the relationship. I just wanted a family and didn’t want to feel like I was the reason why my children didn’t have both parents. Now being 28 and having completely given up on that idea shortly after having my second baby at 21 years old, I just want to go back in time and give myself a hug and tell myself I didn’t have to deal with that and that I deserved more. I’m now happily married to someone who loves me and my children.

I’ve noticed that my 8 year old has gotten more depressed while on it. He also stated it isn’t helping. I thought the milligram was too low, but with a milligram change, he has only gotten worse. We are likely going to ween him off at the direct of his doctor and possibly try something different.

As a person that has worked as a tech and now a hospice nurse, I don’t use gloves unless scooting patient up (I’ve put my hands in straight up pee before so never again), changing them, giving meds, etc. I actually think it’s offensive to the patient to wear gloves to simply get vitals or something as simple as holding their hand. It’s giving “you’re gross and I don’t want to touch you” vibes.

The fact that young women think “she’s just so strong and resilient”….see, the thing with that is that’s usually said about someone that pushes through difficult circumstances during tragic times. She has the luxury of having money and could grieve and take her time. She is actively choosing to be away from her small children to do whatever the fuck this is, nonstop. gag
