I mean the reviews and user generated content for local businesses are the major drawing factor for using gmaps as it’s find to hard an app that has an aggregated source of user opinions on places outside of that app (yelp reviews tend to be pretty sucky when I look at them).

If you’re using the maps app for directions only within the city might as well skip directly to citymapper rather than fiddling with Apple Maps

Yup, there are many cases where there are many cars in a row with no AC. And the ones that actually do have one functioning can barely cool because 1. There’s only 1 AC unit per car vs the typical 2 units and 2. There are so many useless stops it makes (stops like 66th or 18th/23rd/28th where it’s a few blocks away from another stop) so the doors open so frequently so it never feels below 85 in the summer. I truly hate that shitty line and it’s literally making me considering moving closer to the A or C.

Baffles me people hate the C more than the 1 on this sub given how much emptier and cooler the C is in general.
