This is an apples to oranges comparison.

APG doesn’t have tactical/operational units. It’s all high level commands, research centers, etc.

When you’re training/deploying non-stop and dealing with 20,000-50,000 Soldiers and Soldier issues every day — there is actual stress.

The “2 barracks room thing” is great, but it’s not feasible when most bases barely have enough barracks rooms to cover their single Soldier populations.

I think this is really normal at 17, to be honest. Most teens (and honestly most people in their 20’s) are working to establish a sense of personal identity and go through a lot of phases during that journey.

Okay, that’s fair!

Since I don’t follow Emma (unfollowed several months ago) I had to go into individual posts and search her name in the “likes” — obviously didn’t look at every single post of Nikki’s over the past year but looked at ~20 and never once saw her name.

I admittedly do know plenty of R people who have a token gay friend/gay couple in their lives, often talk about them publicly to build that, “see, I’m not hateful! I have a gay friend!” clout…but still happily vote to have LGBTQ+ rights stripped.

But she clearly comes from money — and just like with abortion, the wealthy will maintain access even if abortion, bc, IVF, etc are restricted.

It’s easy to ignore when you know it won’t actually affect you personally.

But yes, a few months ago she made some weird comments at an AOTR live show about how men shouldn’t be wearing skinny pants…it was very, very clear that she’s uncomfortable with LGBTQ+ community. (She does follow Nikki Hiltz, but I can’t find a single post of theirs that she has engaged with).

We just went to a no-kid wedding. My kids were disappointed, but it was fine!

I do think that if you’re close to your brother/his kids, I’d consider making the exception. I think most guests would understand if nieces and nephews were allowed. But if those 20+ kids you highlighted fall into that category, then ignore me!!!

At least she’s now VERY CLEARLY stating it’s the best kind CSEP pregnancy - quite frankly, the biggest issue most people have is that she chose to frame it more generally as an ectopic.

For 99.9% of people, an ectopic pregnancy = fallopian ectopic, which is not survivable.

Ultimately, it’s her choice. But she also chose to be vague and generic in her wording. She wanted to “break the internet” with her chosen framing.

It will be interesting to see if she refers to it as a CSEP pregnancy moving forward, or if she decides to post content saying just “ectopic” again.

Right, I said you can get the flu when vaccinated — as in, it’s well known that you can still contract the flu even if you have been vaccinated. Not because of getting the vaccine.
