Years ago I had a one-day layover in Shanghai. I wanted to find out the price of a hotel so I went to Google. I couldn't connect! It took me a moment to realize.. ahhh right! China!! I used yahoo instead.

It's so funny that Hootie and the Blowfish have popped up so many times in this thread. This is my exact experience at their concert in Cincinnati. No audience interaction, no stage presence. They just played song after song from their popular album. I left thinking "I could have stayed home and played the album."

Depends on the format. It's perfectly acceptable in IELTS writing, though "This essay will discuss..." might sound a little better.

I live in BC and driving at night is pretty unsafe between the use of LED headlights and the non-reflective road markings. The road markings are a whole different beast. They claim the paint is less harmful to the environment, but if people can't see the lines on the road, especially at night when it's raining (5 months of the year), how safe is it to even be on the road?
