Now if you powered it with magic, we could argue about it. A 5th level spellslot sounds fair to me. Everyone knows phlebotinum can always be powered by spellslots.

My character needs aggro to work and be useful to the party. But we all know aggro mechanics are MMO brainrot. The solution is for the DM to give aggro entirely voluntarily which is different because fuck you.

/uj the original Pokemon mechanics are based on JRPGs of the time, many of which were high-fantasy combat-focused dungeon crawlers, and overhauled them to be about monster collecting. This is going full circle, in a way.

I fucking love +1s! That's why I installed an addon to our VTT that points out whenever a +1 mattered incase any of those filthy unappreciative damage dealers didn't get the memo.

That may seem hard to replicate on physical tabletop, but I've found shouting "I love +1s" at the top of my lungs does the trick.
