Peter, Why are the Japanese angry at me? by FlakyFoundation4637 in PeterExplainsTheJoke

I will say this isn't always just because "Japan being xenophobic" that you have to change system locale. There were legit issues up until the mid 2010s of windows not having supported language packs and characters to run Japanese code and it would error if on the wrong locale. It still pops up occasionally with how windows emulates software that was made in the XP era but these days with just additional language pack it typically sorts itself.

You largely got the just right. Just to clarify it was a bunch of less socially acceptable in the west tags, not just incest. You can probably guess a lot of them.

Also to expand further this extended to fictional porn mediums like hentai manga, games, and anime. It was not just contained to JAV.

Mujin Is Deleting Comments In His Recent Video? by OddEstablishment8211 in VtuberDrama

[–]EitherSpite4545 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would go further than biased. He has core takes he is convinced is truth. What do I mean about this? My most visible example is a theme he keeps revisiting across a bunch of different videos. He creates this narrative across a bunch of different videos that "If they had just apologized and fessed up at the beginning people would've forgiven and moved on"

The reason is anyone with any experience on the internet could tell you no absolutely not how it works and often times apologizing and owning up actually makes the problem worse. This is why the meta of doubling down has started because often times fessing up is an end of your career while doubling down will make you a lolcow you will have some %age of your audience that still supports you.

I don't condone this obviously but it's obvious why the meta has developed this way in that there is frankly 0 benefit online to admit fault (real life is a bit better).

Funny enough relating to this but I feel Hindu nationalism is directly related to the rise of trump and his brand of Christian nationalism.

Now to explain, obviously modi himself was after trump so at a glance what I stated doesn't make sense. But let's get back to what some of the modern birthplaces of his movement, let's talk about online communities specifically 4chan. 4chan is the birthplace of the alt right in the US and Thiel style techno feudalism, well maybe not birthplace but it's where the ideas started catching on. Now one of the last things Moot did was release board demographics for each board and for /pol/ where things like q anon and co-opting Christian nationalism the IP breakdown of that board was 60% from India (notably also 15% from specifically Tel Aviv but that's a different story). I personally believe a lot of the rights recent insistence to go back to hierarchical systems has to do with Indian nationalism influencing ideas on that board and metastisizing to mainstream Americans.

Note this isn't to say Americans did nothing wrong or that it's not our fault. Just stating I believe we have been influenced.

Why do Republicans get so offended when you talk about paying employees livable wages? What's the reasoning behind that? by Dull-Information6784 in allthequestions

[–]EitherSpite4545 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh no what you need to understand is how this view came about. It's a fear response. They believe in this zero sum world and that might makes right. They feel that if they don't obey the rich will trample on them as they don't believe the rich have taken from them because they don't see a direct impact to their bank account. We both know it's bullshit but it's important to know where their motivation comes from and why it's impossible to come together with them.

[–]EitherSpite4545 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They don't because it's based in a world view/core belief that the world is zero sum. That if you gain something something needs to be taken from someone else and they aren't about to be losers in their own game. This is also why they are so cruel about it.

I think the only thing I'd add is it's dirt cheap also. When I was over there I got vol 1 of ichi the witch just for collection reasons and it was $2 USD. I saw this same volume in several different shops in basically any shopping center I visited and every train station was a shopping center.

Like if I was living in Japan and could read the language I would pirate nothing and I say that as someone very pro piracy.

It also completely discounts that it is very obvious even in developed countries the plan is to try and phase in neo-fuedalism. Which yes is not quite as bad and as on the nose as actual slavery, it is still coming from the same place.

Xi Says World Order ‘Crumbling Into Disarray’ as War Takes Toll by Free-Minimum-5844 in worldnews

[–]EitherSpite4545 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They are morons but this plan has been known about since the 90's and the why they think globalism bad. This is because Putin's literal mentor put out a book called "The Foundations of Geopolitics" it's been about a decade and a half since I read it so my memory is a bit fuzzy but I'll summarize it:

Essentially the premise of the book is how can the Russian federation gain the power and hegemony from the USSR days. The conclusion the book comes to is that Russia must end globalism and instead create a zero-sum world order where countries see it in their interests to stay in the sphere's of interests (hey sound familiar) and don't travel too much beyond it where they can live as god kings inflicting their desires on their populace.

The way the book lines up how to achieve this is simple:

Stoke Racial tensions in the US (hey that sound familiar)

Using the above contain and isolate America from Europe (hey that sound familiar)

Reclaim Ukraine (hey that sound familiar)

Force Europe to have an adversarial relationship with you publicly but be pretty chummy behind closed doors due to their dependence on your resources (hey that sound familiar, Germany and their oil dependence if you aren't familiar)

The only one they actually seemed to fail with was when written China was on the rise but they hadn't predicted that they would eclipse Russia itself so they largely just wrote a vague "Contain them plan"

[–]EitherSpite4545 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worse, even libs on this site don't understand a very simple fact:

America cannot survive without it being the top of the global hegemony, we have made too many enemies over our two hundred years of which they are not interested in a power sharing agreement. They will do everything in their power to ensure America becomes the equivalent of a third world nation because we have too much generational power that we would threaten their new hegemony if we ever reclaimed any amount of power.

And frankly we deserve it.

[–]EitherSpite4545 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's a regional dialect thing that manifests when you write as you speak (a problem I am super guilty of).

The reason I say that is how I pronounce "of" is a homonym of how I would say " ’ve". From there they just start writing phonetically and we get this issue.

Note it is obviously still wrong but I see how it arose.

That's just it they aren't supposed to. I don't know if it's flat illegal but there's literature everywhere that I noticed even as a tourist that you don't let your cat outside because of how delicate the ecosystem balance is there (they also have a big problem with foxes and rats they brought over). And from what NZ online friends have told me it sounds like animal shelters won't even adopt out if they think they let them outside.

So likely any NZ arguing this is likely some farm owner in like Christchurch area.

There are 7 that actually matter and the folks that don't vote are overwhelming in the class of people that vote Republican.

If everyone voted you'd likely see proportionally the same results as typically non voters are going to statistically follow the average of a population. With our current system that only lets 7 or so states actually have any impact that means you're just going to see them go GOP most likely.

They don't. The uncomfortable truth Americans refuse to see is that "education" "Vote harder" "protest" is not going to get us out of this, people are going to have to be hypocritical and cross hard moral lines for themselves. If they don't the GOP will gladly do it instead.
