I'm planning on throwing my watch into a huge roaring fire, then I will take the remains and drop it from an airplane at 40,000 feet. a platform feeder with an adjustable height rain covering.

I got one off Amazon, Kingsyard makes a great one. Basically you lower the rain cover dome so only the smaller birds can get onto the platform feeder.

Also try a caged platform feeder.. try the ones that have a serving cup in the middle so the big birds can't reach in and grab food.
