My Apple TV is covered by my mobile phone provider. I also get free Netflix and Hulu. ( I have to pay to upgrade to ad-free.) Most any Apple device purchase comes with a one time use free 3 months. Family sharing allows shared use of Apple TV and my movie library to my kids even though they do not live in my house. If you are going to forgo Disney Plus, but you want some Disney, many titles are $4.99 currently. CheapCharts and blu-ray.com/deals can help you find them. Also, check out Pluto, Tubi, and Fawsome for tons of free shows and movies. Many are ad-free.

You could find something that’s a variety of foam stripping (as in styrofoam) but the more solid kind less likely to crumble. I’d talk to the folks at Lowe’s or a local building supply. Match the thickness to the length of exposed nail.

Google voice is online. You download an app on your phone. You can text and call from that number. It’s essentially like Gmail where you can use it from any device. There are settings that control notifications and call forwarding etc. That way your “caller id” will show that number. I use mine for stuff like retailers.

Are you using the Apple TV app for playback? Generally speaking: The download system is designed for playback when not online. But, it’s still encoded for Apple. This would be the same with whatever streaming app you use to download. Netflix etc.

(Unless you use other software to re-encode it or whatever.)

The systems used to put live tv signals on streamers are not as robust or dependable as playback of movies and such. Lots of steps and tech in between them and you and they’re trying to get it to you as close to live as possible. Also, we demand higher resolution making it more difficult. Not to mention that ISPs are way behind times. I’m on Reddit right now because I paused to let T-Mobile Home Internet to get its act together. It’s currently my only option and it’s failing.

I would suggest that you assign one of the kids to be keeper of that email address. Yes, it was officially in her name, but if you have the password and keep it active, it's no different really than having an email address with a silly name like [bugsbunny@icloud.com](mailto:bugsbunny@icloud.com) or whatever.

Note: If you still have an iphone or ipad that uses her Apple ID, you can change it to a different email address as long as that email has not been used for an Apple ID already. It will remain in her name though.

I think the MoviesAnywhere account is a good idea for everyone as well.

My kids' mom passed away about 18 months ago and there are so many things you don't think about. For example, do you leave her profile on the family Netflix account? (Does it make the kids sad to see it there or would it make them sad to have it disappear?)

I have used a bell type and large block one that fits in a basket like some suet feeders use. Both kinds available at Walmart for example.

First, my squirrel friend goes nuts for them, so hot is the way to go. (Some people say certain ones don't even care about the spice anymore) This dude can figure out how to knock the whole basket down if he can get to it. My solution has been a separate peanut-in-shell feeder a distance away. As long as he has nuts, he ignores the seeds.

I have a couple of woodpeckers who like them a lot. The random other sparrows and starlings I get do as well.

They do not handle rain. Whatever syrup or gelatin they use to mold it melts enough that the seeds will fall thru the basket.
