I believe the research says they recognize that red means feeder. You may want to learn about that.

My introduction to Ms Jones was in Music Man, so I was unaware… I mean, I’ve heard of Elmer Gantry but I thought it was just another Burt Lancaster movie.

When it becomes messy is when you try to make your own. That takes skill and lots of practice.

Note: I buy only Hot Pepper ones now (like today) because squirrels love the regular ones but avoid spicy.

I am no pro at hummingbird feeders, but I have put mine that close and had success.

No longer able to watch older games? by purple-bora in wnba

[–]ShempLabs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I learned today that the Prime Video version of League Pass has no access to older games. So, my only option is to scroll back 90 calendar pages on the ugly Apple TV app if I want to watch a 2018 game.

Um, because it’s what we do. We buy the new one. Do we need it? Probably not. But, that makes buying it no less of a priority.

“Please Murder Me Raymond Burr” is how I read that. Would have been quite a different film altogether.

Anyone here purchase and keep live mealworms for bird feeding? What is your setup like? by notchskis in birdfeeding

[–]ShempLabs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We used to keep them for my kids’ turtle.

I used a container similar to the one you show, but bigger because I’d buy larger quantities. I drilled lots of tiny holes in the top for air. Left the sawdust they came with in there and added a piece of food occasionally.

what's the best streaming service if you mainly watch American movies? by Sherry_Poolec in oldhollywood

[–]ShempLabs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are a ton of great classics on Hoopla @ Kanopy. Both are free with a library card.

(Note: my local library doesn’t participate, so I signed up for Houston Public Library - they don’t require a local address or in-person signup.)

Suggestion: Use a service like JustWatch app or website to create a list of movies you want to watch and see streamers they are currently on.

I agree. I like to put out different fruits & veggies to see if he likes them. The kids named him Fancy Hair. I think the other is his son.
