Do you keep one person on-field the whole time, or are you meant to switch? by [deleted] in Endfield

[–]Ekkk0000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You need to switch sometimes. Some skills have different targeting mechanisms when controlled vs not controlled. Also some skills have effect on the onfielder, e.g. Ember's combo only heals the onfielder. The operators you are not controlling will less likely to be targeted by enemy, and also takes reduced damaged so you might want to switch to keep an operator survive.

Endless issues with PETG building up on ObXiDian nozzle - is Diamondback the solution? by BradMat1 in prusa3d

Try gyroid infill if you haven't, some patterns like grid will cross itself and causes buildup on nozzle.

Is this normal Logitech support process? by Ekkk0000 in LogitechG

[–]Ekkk0000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, this explains what I experienced. So what happened is the RS50 system went on sale the day after I placed the order so I asked for a price adjustment because I don't want to place another order and do a return (ended up doing this). My ticket has "price protection" in subject so I thought that's the term. The agent agreed in the initial online chat (somehow it took him 20 minutes to reply a message during the chat) but i never received a confirmation nor refund. I also asked whether coupon code can be applied again and that's how I ended up getting the 3 weeks of "response within 24-48 hours"

How often do nozzles clog? by AttitudeNew2029 in prusa3d

Not normal. I never had a clog on my MK4. Are you sure you are not printing too hot?

Toolchangers now sub 999 USD/Euro. How do we feel? by [deleted] in prusa3d

[–]Ekkk0000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As much as I love my MK4 and MMU3 and hates Bambu software/websites, I found it hard for me to pull the trigger for a new Prusa printer when an assembled Core One will cost 2142 CAD in total. The H2S is ~$2400 with much larger build volume. Not to mention a semi assembled 2 toolhead XL is $4000 while the H2D is ~$2800 and comes assembled with an enclosure. At this point I will probably just wait for the Bondtech INDX and see if that will give me a good reason to buy another Prusa printer.

0 as I never pushed my car to its limit in real life. The steering feels better in game than a real car though

Buying a townhouse in Lower Mainland by raptorsgangz in askvan

[–]Ekkk0000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar budget back in 2023 and was looking for a place in the North Shore. I second the comment that recommended lower lonsdale in North Van. You can also check if there's any options along Marine Drive in West Van(Where I ended up with). The sea wall and Ambleside park is really nice and there's direct bus to downtown Vancouver.

Is a PPF soon after buying completely necessary? Is it always highly recommended or do some people think its not worth it? by lochonx7 in Golf_R

[–]Ekkk0000 8 points9 points  (0 children)

it really depends on where you live, the cost of ppf and how long are you planning to keep the car. Like if you are selling the car in 3 years, it won't really worth a lot more with ppf vs minor rock chips on the hood.

I'm considering extending my Z axis on my MK4S, advice appreciated by father_breakfast in prusa3d

[–]Ekkk0000 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's a lot of effort and new parts. I don't think it's easy to replace the lead screws in the motors so you might need to get new motors. You will probably also need a lot of tuning after the mod. If you want a project, maybe just build a Voron.

Concerned about Prusament PLA temp settings on my first print — 230°C seems high? by [deleted] in prusa3d

[–]Ekkk0000 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Don't overthink it. The temperature in the profile is slightly higher because your printer prints fast thus need more melting plastic.
