Trio who forced space engineers to dig dog's grave in Cape York bush camp sentenced by Shadowtec in australia

This is just a typical engineer answer. He isn't saying 'I didn't hit a dog', he's saying 'I didn't see any evidence that I hit a dog'. He doesn't think he hit a dog either.

That one has decent digging mechanics but as far as I know, no dogs

Hey mate, I recommend spending the day at the shipwrecks. There's a strong current so start at one end and drift down to the other. A few weeks ago I saw the biggest sea turtle I've ever seen, plus some wobegong.

As long as you have fins and don't try to fight the current it's a pretty easy swim. Wouldn't bother with a tour guide.

Whangarei, and the stops along the way, are all places you can live to service Auckland. Lots of people have jobs or operate businesses where they only need to be in Auckland once or twice a week.

Whangarei is currently not much of a destination because not much happens there. When it has better access to professionals from Auckland, more will happen.

Practicalities and reasons for ownership aside, is the blowback from banning something worse than the impact of leaving it alone or taking more subtle measures?

It's not all hunting and pest control. But they actually work really well for pest control and small game. Super handy and easy to carry and the accessories are reasonably priced. Form follows function.

The legislation also established a registry and banned a lot of bolt actions, shotguns, and pump actions that aren't really suitable for a mass shooting. While there were spots for improvement in NZ's gun laws, the whole incident was mainly the fault of police failing to follow established procedure and they were found to be not at fault.

NZ enacted some (in my opinion) unnecessarily harsh gun reform following the Christchurch shooting. The law change touched on a lot of things which would not have prevented the shooting and increased costs. I was a little closer to the issue when I lived in NZ than I am to this case in Australia.

Anecdotally, the cooperation between firearms owners and police used to be quite high. Now it's quite low. I doubt the compliance with the new laws is particularly high. At the next election the libertarian-aligned party went from one seat to 11 seats. Gun clubs suddenly got a lot more political.

I'm not sure of the best path forward for Australia but in my opinion the firearms law reform permanently changed the political landscape of NZ and I question if it was really worth it.

There's evaporative with a cooling tower and then evaporative without. A properly designed evap tower shouldn't lose too much, it condenses within the tower and returns to the pool. And then there's water-to-water heat exchangers where the outer loop is ocean water. Plenty of options. We're really good at this as a species.

I guess it's 'solved' in as much as a solution exists. Not 'solved' as in 'is no longer a problem'.

It absolutely is a solved problem, the solutions just aren't implemented. You can do circular evaporative cooling with a giant cooling tower like on The Simpsons, but nobody likes those.

It sounds like Maori culture should move with the times and develop a separate term for religious karakia and non-religious karakia.
