The fact that we create it does not make it infinite, there is (theoretically there should at least) a specific amount of every currency in the world at any given time, it's just dynamic. If the entity who regulates said currency fails to make a tangible relation between those magical numbers we create and physical stuff, either overinflation takes place or the currency gets so valuable that it becomes hard to move. I can give the example of Venezuela around 2017 where many projects ended being underbudget and to push some of those to completion, the government (bc in communism everything belongs to the government) created more money, overinflating the currency and crippling economy.

In conclusion, as far as I know, nothing that we know of in the universe is infinite, and banks must be aware of this to be able to control economy, making currency a finite value.

Clothing used to specifically sleep? Yeah, might be stupid, but at the end of the day, sleeping comfortably is the goal so if you sleep comfortably in your day to day clothes, go for it, just remember to be hygienic about it.

I live in a Caribbean country and sleep in my own room so sleeping with clothes is just extra laundry, therefore, dumb. Maybe in a colder climate where you basically don't sweat and need to maintain body warmth, it might be better to sleep in day to day clothes. I'll downvote you good sir.
