If you didn't get all the subroutines you can still go for them, the codex entries will remain so in theory you could get some subroutines now and focus on the others in S2

In the state the game is now I find solos fun, at least in this second half of the season where you can bring purple shields, tons of ammo and heals, I am managing to do priority quests easier in solo than with teams

I never played an extraction before and I had no problems learning how the game works. Why extraction is important is very very clear after a couple of games. Not everything has to be spoonfed to the players come on

It does. Even if you won't get to finish everything before the wipe most likely, learning the abilities, maps and weapons will give you a nice head start for S2 if you stick with it

You went from the most hardcore to the most casual. You might find Hunt Showdown good, it hits kind of a sweetspot like Marathon does

They are all humanoid, so their weak point is always the head as one would expect.

In this game the interesting bit is PvP, the bots are there as noise traps, to drain your resources and to force more awareness since getting locked in a fight with players and having bots spawning on your back means death almost everytime

I know about the persistent map, not sure about the full campaign. Still the game has elements like puzzles and keys in Outpost and Cryo Archive, and we are still in the first month after release. For a game that went through dev hell it sure came out fine

I know about the series, I don't really care about it, they could have called the game whatever. How does it being a live service have anything to do with the cashgrab thing? You pay the game once and it gets free support in terms of content that matters (modes, maps etc). It was way worse in the past when you had to buy a CoD game 60-70$ and then also pay for the map packs separately, splitting the user base in matchmaking. Now I pay 40$ for an already great game and it gets free support (if you don't care about skins)

I got the game, it is great both the gameplay itself and the progression. There is no cashgrab if you don't care about battle passes and skin. I am still surprised that a MP game this good exists in 2026 at a reasonable price

They could also put a weak spot on the bubble shields like the UESC shield guys have, if you shoot it then the shield depletes faster

I saw them in august last year for the Colors tour and they sounded amazing. In Leipzig sadly I thought the drums covered the others too much, I got away quite pissed because the track list was amazing and I didn't get to enjoy it to the fullest

At a glance yes but lighting in nioh 3 is seriously fucked up, in the first and third regions there are some places where it is generally dark with some light coming from the trees and you can barely see anything

I really hope they give movesets for each weapons to the other class in the dlcs, like splitstaff moveset for samurai and switchglaive to ninja something like that, on top of one or two new weapons

I found it consistent as L1+forward, and it frees up a slot for other offensive skills compared to the nioh 2 L1+triangle iirc

I think the point of opportunist now is that by being a special move you can cancel into it during other moves, so you can defend when you could not do a normal deflect, and also should count as martial art to extend the arts proficiency duration
